October 31 I picked up an order. I expected the legendary fish sandwich, but got a block of suspiciously breaded fish that had a lightly green tint. My grill salmon was loud in odor. I offered to return the order so the manager could see this ghoulish order. I didn't want a refund or anything else from the kitchen. I... More

The menu here was good. I'm told it is a locally-popular place. They specialize in fish and are a fair price. Some members of our table got chicken sandwiches and reubens. Good cole slaw and steak fries. Really just a good lunch. Probably not a great dinner place...

The food was mediocre at best. I would not recommend nor make a plan to go back there. It was typical bulk-type cooking in my opinion.

This was a quick lunch stop that turned out pretty good. The specials were decently priced and tasted pretty good. Getting our food took a while but could have been the lunch rush as they had a take out line that just never seemed to end. Portions were a little on the small side but all in all a decent... More

Cunningham's was simple, decent food at reasonable prices. We stayed around the block for almost a week and visited three times. The staff and management were more than friendly and attentive. it is not a five star steak house. If you are expecting that - there are many other places within walking distance. We LOVED the down home feel -... More

My husband and I were told 30 minute wait which was fine. There were several 4 top tables available that went to other dinners checking in after us!? We were eventually given a 4 top?? This fish tasted like it had been cooked and then reheated. Onion rings were so greasy it puddled on the plate. Beer was cold, but... More

An old established Louisville eatery even after a fire. The come back in downtown is a legacy continuing on. The fish is so good and if you want the old fashioned BLT stacked sandwich, here it is. Years ago, Cunningham's was THE place to go and be seen.

Restaurant is located on a creek coming from the Ohio River. Boats come often and dock to eat so be sure and eat outside to enjoy it all. Inside seems too dark and depressing to us...more like a bar dive. Fish dinner for $12 is best buy with two large portions of fish and too sides. The broiled cod is... More

Atmosphere was great - wish our weather had been warm enough to sit creek-side. Food was good. Service mediocre. But if you go, DEFINITELY go to the River Road location and not 4th street. It's just not the same!!!

Portions are big, prices are great and our waitress was great and fun to talk to. We had the Fish, and chopped sirloin. My Chopped sirloin was perfect, smothered in mushrooms and a thick tasty gravy. Also had the homemade onion rings, and a very tasty salad. My wife had the fish which was also very very good. Am definitely... More
