Not so vegetarian friendly

I wanted to go to this place for a long time. Even though I'm not concerned about gluton I was happy to see they had a gluton free menu because that usually means they will be vegetarian friendly. We made our reservations in advance and showed up at the restaurant. There was no one there once... read more

I had never been to The Melting Pot before, so when my friend bought a Groupon for there I jumped at the chance to go. EVEN AFTER WE PAID $60 FOR THE GROUPON IT STILL COST ANOTHER $60 ONCE WE ORDERED!!. They charge WAY to much for the small portions you get and the fact your cooking your own food.... More

Several friends and I visit The Melting Pot 5-6 times per year. Service varies. We've had fantastic servers, and so-so, but never bad. They always have seasonal menus in addition to their standard menu, and I love that the servers consistently let you know which ones are fantastic and which ones aren't worth it. They work around preferences and allergies... More

We made reservations for a Saturday night and the restaurant was completely filled. We knew the melting pot restaurant was more of an "experience" than a hearty meal but the portions were small to say the least for what you paid for. We had a groupon which included a salad, (the waitress's recommendation for the orchard salad was spot on)... More

Our first trip to Melting Pot. Enjoyable experience BUT that is what they are selling, THE EXPERIENCE. The food portions are so small, I was shocked! $19 Cheese Fondue for 2 included 3 Broccoli Florets, 3 Cauliflower Florets, 7 tiny Pepper Rings, about 1/3 of an Apple and 20 Tortilla Chips. Their cost, maybe $3.00. The Entrees are equally as... More

Great service and relaxing meal after long day at PGA. We had a lighter plate that we shared. It did take a almost 2 hours to eat, but if you have the time, it's a great place to unwind and relax.

My husband and I love to travel for special occasions, and we often end up in Melting Pot locations. For our anniversary, we decided to spend two days in Louisville, to catch a Broadway tour at the Kentucky Center, and explore the city. When we found out there was a Melting Pot, we made a reservation in advance, and planned... More

We walked in and sat down. 30 minutes later we had yet to be acknowledged, we let someone know and immediately found out it was a mistake and a big understanding. The manager on duty (Scott?) personally came and apologized he took wonderful care of us! He paid for our meal. We understood what happened and were so grateful for... More

We decided to head to the Louisville Melting Pot for dinner after having a magnificent experience at the one in Nashville last year. This one did NOT hold up to our expectation one bit. It seemed as if we were rushed as every moment. Because we had stated we'd been to a Melting Pot before, we really weren't given an... More

My wife and I finally got a date night and decided to try out The Melting Pot. After reading some reviews on another site I took the advice of some and made reservations. When we arrived we were instantly shown to our table, a cozy little booth for two with dim yet romantic lighting. The server was very helpful in... More
