My husband and I love to travel for special occasions, and we often end up in Melting Pot locations. For our anniversary, we decided to spend two days in Louisville, to catch a Broadway tour at the Kentucky Center, and explore the city. When we found out there was a Melting Pot, we made a reservation in advance, and planned... More

We walked in and sat down. 30 minutes later we had yet to be acknowledged, we let someone know and immediately found out it was a mistake and a big understanding. The manager on duty (Scott?) personally came and apologized he took wonderful care of us! He paid for our meal. We understood what happened and were so grateful for... More

We decided to head to the Louisville Melting Pot for dinner after having a magnificent experience at the one in Nashville last year. This one did NOT hold up to our expectation one bit. It seemed as if we were rushed as every moment. Because we had stated we'd been to a Melting Pot before, we really weren't given an... More

My wife and I finally got a date night and decided to try out The Melting Pot. After reading some reviews on another site I took the advice of some and made reservations. When we arrived we were instantly shown to our table, a cozy little booth for two with dim yet romantic lighting. The server was very helpful in... More

I love the fondu and dessert offerings, but the amount of the food for the cost is not good at all. They bring tiny, tiny bowls with vegetables, fruit and bread to dip--and this is for TWO people. Also, the amount of fondu is not enough. It is fun and I enjoy the experience, but the restaurant must make a... More

We came around 3:15pm when it wasn't busy and had great food and service. As long as you know how the restaurant works (you cook your own entree) and can handle a price of $35-45/person, it's a great experience. Some restaurants have a strong oil smell and this one was not one of them. However, I noticed it in my... More

We went with several couples. It was an awesome experience for us. Unfortunately one of the couples were charged twice for our dinner (we paid for our own) as well as their own dinner. This took three days to resolve. The food was fantastic. Unfortunately the evening was marred by the over charge on the credit cards.

My husband and I visited The Melting Pot on a Friday night after purchasing a Groupon. I thought we would receive subpar service once our waiter found out we were using a Groupon, but we definitely did not. Our waiter was very attentive, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was very conducive to a romantic date night. Highly recommend.... More

We went last night for anniversary, had expected more. Service was slow, had to ask to refill water, husband ordered drink from bar but werent told out of Jack until after salads when we asked about it. The atmosphere was nice, cozy, private booths so great for date night. The best food by far was the desserts, would go back... More

Having been numerous times to the Seattle and Tacoma, WA Melting Pot locations, I was excited to try another. The service and food were great, however the atmosphere here just wasn't the same- not as fancy and formal maybe?! I would still recommend this for anyone who hasn't tried fondue and wants a fun date idea. If you feel the... More
