My husband and I stayed downtown in Louisville. We decided to try Saffron's after reading the positive reviews and it was just around the corner from our hotel. While visiting in Louisville this week, I returned to Saffron's, where I'd eaten twice during my previous visit. The menu doesn't have a lot of choices, but the available choices are varied: kabobs, stews, salads--and beef, chicken, lamb, and vegetarian. The specialty drinks included a "chocolate martini." One of Louisville's best! I go every time I'm there. The shirazi and Greek salad are awesome. Everything is so fresh and with very uncomplicated but utterly tasty flavors. A must. more
