Great dining experience

Try the gormazabzi or the geimeh (split pea stew). Both were fantastic. Ambience is nice and service was stellar!

Since I have moved to Louisville, I have had a craving to try new and exotic cuisines. When I saw this restaurant online and read the menu, I was very excited. However, when I got there, my expectations slowly started lowering. It wasn't the service as much as the food that disappointed me. I had an excellent waiter who had... More

I had the braised Lamb (Mahicheh). It was falling of the bone delicious. It was delicately spiced in a tomato sauce and was served over rice and had vegetables with it. I also ordered grape leaves and hummous to go. They were also good, but not as much of a standout as the lunch. Many of the same dishes are... More

I've enjoyed Saffron's for years. I mostly go for the Kubideh (Beef kabob), but occasionally I'll spring for the rack of Lamb because it's one of the few places I really enjoy it. Service is always good, with a lovely atmosphere.

Try the rack of lamb. It is off the menu but a really nice plate with salad, rice, and vegetables. The service was really good. Very attentive. The seasoning on the lamb was not what I am used to but was really very good. Clean, nice interior. It wasn't very busy on the night I was there.

Trying something new in a city we frequent is always risky. Not this time - Saffron's was a pleasant surprise. Jennifer was our server and she took great care of us. Nice beer & win offering. The half duck special in Grand Marnier Sauce was so yummy with the basmati rice. They have scallops on the menu as part of... More

The food the very good. Love their Halim Bademjan. Decently priced. I do not know about their meat options but they have some nice veggie options.

This restaurant happened to be around the block from our hotel so we decided to give it a try. Persian food is tasty and fresh with subtle spices and this place did a very good job. We ordered a kebab dish and a vegetable dish. I didn't write down the names so I can't tell you exactly but the kebab... More
