Very good Persian food

Good authentic Persian food. Went with an Iraqi family so they really loved it also. (nuff said?) We had about 8 dishes, and all were wonderful. Some are not inexpensive but the lamb was very good and well prepared. Nothing was spicey but some seasonings are not that well known to the american... read more

This was my second visit, the first for dinner. Seated quickly by Allen, the server who seems to actually enjoy his work. The lamb chops were to die for. I cleaned out my plate! So far, my number 1 in Louisville!

We chose this restaurant because it's Trip Advisor's rating. We had the chicken and steak kabob, seafood stew and mahi mahi which were all delicious. Curious to try the homemade vanilla, saffron, rose water and pistachio ice cream. It was certainly a different experience that grows on you the more you enjoy each bite. We'd recommend the visit. You won't... More

This is a must visit restaurant for anybody wanting to sample Persian cuisine or just wanting to get a good meal in a welcoming environment in the downtown Louisville. The food is well prepared, the service is fantastic and the staff is friendly. The restaurant owner and staff make you feel like you are part of the family. My wife... More

I had the New Zealand Lamb and Salmon which was one of their specials that evening. It came on a bed of herb rice which was also delicious.

We love Persian food and make the trip to Louisville to get some quality Persian / Iranian dishes. I love the ghormeh sabzi- my husband loves the koobideh and my kids like the dolmathes and Joojeh kabob- try the yogurt with shallots with pita bread- the Persian ice cream is wonderful (rose water flavored with pistachios) Another favorite if you... Everything we tried was very good. The saffron ice cream was my favorite but I also enjoy the grape leaves and duck.

My husband and I stopped in for a lunch date on a quick trip to Louisville. We were looking for great food and found it! Our quail appetizer was succulent and flavorful. We shared the lamb special which was perfectly cooked and the accompaniments were bursting with perfectly paired flavors. Our meal was reasonably priced, perfect in size and our... More

Great food including choices for vegetarians and gluten free eaters. Nice and quiet so we could talk during dinner. That is very rare. I went there twice during a 5 day stay so that says a lot. The owners and staff could not be more accommodating as we kept changing the number of our party. I love Persian food and... More

This is a Persian restaurant with a chef who must be quixotic. No way were our portions the large ones that I read about here. One tiny skinny quail for $9, though it was delicious. A rack of lamb with 7 tiny chops and some salad (or rice if you prefer) for $38. An extra side of rice for one... More
