Awesome Food!

I live in the neighborhood and love bringing my guests to Lillys! The owner (Kathy) is awesome! The food is unique and there is always a nice selection of choices. I highly recommend it!

I had the opportunity to try the classic Lilly's last weekend and it didn't disappoint. Although this might be more appealing to the older crowd, don't be scared to be trilled with an amazing menu. The food was amazing and the summer old fashion was the bomb! The waiter was very nice and make sure our meal was completely GF... More

We love everything about Lilly's! It was quiet and relaxing. The staff was very friendly and efficient. We went there for dinner with another couple for our first visit. Every dish was delicious! We had the Kentucky Rose Salad, the Strawberry Bibb Salad, the Caesar Salad and Tomatillo Avocado Soup. Three of us ordered the Caramelized Jumbo Scallops with lemon... More

I went to lunch with a group of 10 to Lilly's and experience restaurant nirvana! EVERYTHING was first rate, from the service, to the décor to the food. And oh, what wonderful food! The group devoured the pate' appetizer and the crab cake appetizers! Lunch entrees were exquisite yet reasonably priced-- fried oysters and grits; nicoise salad; lamb-burgers; hamburgers and... Excellent food, great service. Impressive, well-priced wine list. Excellent cocktails. Try the Caesar salad with grit croutons. Warm, fresh bread served with good olive oil.

We visited Lilly's on a Saturday night after watching American Pharoah win the Belmont Stakes and Triple Crown from a suite at Churchill Downs. Most highly rated restaurants in town were fully booked when we planned our weekend in Louisville, so we took a chance on this neighborhood spot in The Highlands. The women started with a salad, and both... More

First time eating at Lilly's back in May on a Saturday for a late lunch. The mago tea was SO good. I could have drank a gallon of it. I had the fried oysters and wisenburger grits. It was so good. I cleaned my plate and wasn't ashamed. My guest had the burger and he noted this was one of... More

An excellent meal that celebrates local ingredients. The fried oysters and the pork belly pastrami were outstanding. The mains we had were the centre cut ribeye and the veal and both were also very good.

I want to tell you.... no, I am compelled to tell you that we had a most exquisitely delightful meal at Lilly's last evening. First, I want to thank Brennon the bartender for his professional and friendly service. He clearly knows his craft and his selections. If you're visiting soon, ask for a Spring Old Fashioned. And if you're of... More
