A fine evening meal at a Hide-away spot

We dined there recently and had a wonderful dinner. The Flatbread appetizer (which I think had the word "ranch" in it,)was very good and enough to share. I usually don't like "Ranch" items as I find it overdone. This was very good and the flatbread had an excellent crispness. We had a mixture... read more

My wife and I stopped at this refurbished old establishment for lunch while out taking care of some business and we're glad we did. We were quickly seated in the attractive, rustically furnished dining room. Both of us ordered the brat with a side of potato salad. The brat comes on a coney style bun with sauteed onions (they call... More

owners family, Gabrielle, is writing favorable reviews. That's really sad, let the business stand on its own. These people were insufferable on TV and they are still trying to trick us simple folks.

I ate here last night. Food, service, and comfort all hit the mark. Aaron our server was helpful when it came to answering questions on the menu. I got the B & B burger (awesome) and my boyfriend had the prime rib (rich and tender). We also had the meat pie app and it was just so, so. Plenty of... More

I ate here with 3 friends on a Tuesday evening. When we arrived at 6:30, we were the ONLY ones in the restaurant. When we left, there was one other table of 2 occupied and 1 patron at the bar. I'm hopeful they draw more business for lunch or on other nights. The food was excellent, but they need to... More

Three of us met at the Coach Lamp for lunch today. We had some reservation due to the last review, but during the course of the meal we couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. We were greeted by the owner, the server was very pleasant and attentive to our needs, even asking if we wanted a "to go" cup because... More

Food was good BUT the service was really bad! We were the only people in the dining room but they server only seemed concerned with the 3 tables on the patio. Passed right by us NUMEROUS times. I had to go to the owner to get my water glass refilled! My wife went to the kitchen area to ask for... More

We had dinner here tonight with a group of friends. I had the prime rib and my husband had the fried chicken. Other members in our party had the shrimp and grits and the short ribs. Our service was excellent and the food was beautifully presented. I had a flight of their house wine and even the house wine was... More

I hadn't heard of the Coach Lamp until the Restaurant Impossible episode aired a few months ago. When we were discussing going out, we decided to give it a try. We didn't have reservations and it was a Saturday night, so I wondered if there would be a wait. But the place was only about half full, and we were... More

The last time I visited the Coach Lamp Restaurant I decided it would be the last. Every year a group of us go for my friends birthday. This year it was awful. The service was rude. Not just one of them but the entire staff. The food was mediocre. There are much better places to eat in The Ville. Too... More
