Country Seafood Boil at the Wine Studio

I found out about the Country Seafood event Edward Lee was hosting at the Wine Studio (across from 610 restaurant) in Louisville's Food and Dining Magazine. I've heard such great things about 610 Magnolia, so I definitely wanted to go. You have to make reservations to get into 610 Magnolia and the... read more

Unbelievable meal. One of my best ever. The prix fixe menu was excellent and extremely tasty. The wine pairing went very well with the meal. Service was excellent.

Party of 3 to celebrate kids birthdays...had gone to his other restaurant at Actors and was not impressed. This left me with the same feeling. Food was good, service excellent, setting nice, but bill came to $469 for party of 3 and we did not have the wine pairings, bottle of wine, or excessive drinks. The beef and squab entrée... More

Consistently one of the best meals with the best service in the region. Unique food pairings, but not extreme. Comfortable, quiet setting, not pretentious.

I am visiting Louisville for a conference and my boyfriend demanded that I go to this restaurant. As an avid watcher of "Mind of a Chef" and similar shows, he has become a huge fan of Chef Edward Lee. The restaurant is hidden away in a beautiful residential neighborhood in Old Louisville. I ordered the four course menu and was... More

Dinner at Magnolia was intended to be the dining highlight of the trip; however, it fell well below our expectations. I'd recommend Proof on Main for the quality, creativity and service. Undeniably the meal at Magnolia was creative and very well prepared. However it did not warrant the very high price and we were shocked by the remarkably rude behaviour... More

I'd read about this place in magazines and blogs, so couldn't wait to try. From the outside, it's rather a non-descript blue house near a railroad and some businesses. Once inside, you're in an open, dark wood space, but it feels cozy and inviting. The service was excellent. Me and my coworker were the first to arrive for a 5:30... More

There really is nothing else in Louisville like 610. My friends and I enjoyed one of the most tasteful and beautifully presented meals I have ever had. Edward Lee seems to get all the praise but I know for a fact it isn't him in the kitchen. Chef Nick Sullivan was the mastermind behind some of the most inventive ideas... More

Happy to have finally dined here. My husband and I had the 4 course menu, and I got the wine pairing. The courses were creative, varied and delicious. I kind of questioned the red wine with the king crab/shrimp bisque, but it was perfect with the heat/spice of the dish. Service was excellent, and it's a really nice vibe, not... More

When you step through the threshold of this place, you step out of a scrubby urban landscape into a rustic luxury farmhouse fantasy. I immediately felt well-cared for as soon as I entered. Consistent with that feeling, your ordering options are either a 4 or a 6 course price fixed menu with or without wine parings. I splurged and went... More
