Have experienced this restaurant a couple of times. Reviews do not do it justice. The entrees appetizers and dessert are works of art.
My husband and I dined here over the weekend and had a wonderful time. The service was impeccable, the wine was extraordinary, and the food was amazing! Really a top-notch establishment. However, be warned - it is very pricey. Enough such that I doubt I would visit again. But, if you are up for a splurge, splurge here.
We came from out of town to celebrate my husbands birthday. Lots of great choices on the prix fix menu, and we were very impressed with the wine pairings that were offered with each course. We were seated upstairs in a cozy loft that had 5 tables: each of the upstairs tables was celebrating a birthday or anniversary! All the... More
My husband and I took my mother and some good friends to 610 Magnolia while in town for Thanksgiving. I'd read about chef/owner Edward Lee's career trajectory and cooking philosophy and was really looking forward to enjoying 5 star food in my hometown. We were disappointed. The meal (before drinks and tip) ran just under $100 per person. The prefix... More
My husband just spent a lovely evening at 610 Magnolia. The restaurant is open Thursday through Saturday nights and you will need to make reservations. They have seating for about 20. The restaurant is farm to table using locally grown produce. We were there on Thursday which is their quietest night. Excellent presentations. Flavors which are still in my memory.... More
We decided to visit 610 Magnolia because we were traveling through Louisville and we're always looking for an excuse to experience fine dining. We had the 4 course with wine pairing. By far our biggest issue was that all of the courses came out at room temperature or even colder. When we brought this to the waiter's attention he mentioned... More
I took my wife here for our anniversary. After she watched some cooking show that the owner was a contestant on, she was really excited to give it a try. Let me say this up front: I'm not a gourmet kind of guy. I like quantity AND quality. I feel like I'm getting suckered when they bring out little bitty... More
Rent a car, take a taxi, call a friend. If you're in LOUISVILLE you MUST eat at 610 Magnolia. The venue is lovely and inviting. The staff is absolutely wonderful, knowledgeable, proud and passionate about the restaurant and their service. Be warned, it is not a rushed service. The atmosphere and food are meant to be savored. You can choose... More
My husband and I went here for dinner our first night in Louisville. It was in a very unassuming building that was only minimally marked and looked more like a nice house than a restaurant. Luckily we only had a short happy hour prior to arriving, and found it easily. We opted to do the 4-course (they also offer 3),... More
My son and I were on a road trip and decided to drive thorough Louisville just so we could eat at 610 Magnolia. It was great and definitely worth stopping for. We both decided to do the tasting. We were very impressed to say the least! The Pappy Van Winkle is not too bad either.
