I visited Jumbo Buffet with my family on a Monday night. There is a decent selection on the buffet, unfortunately the quality was lacking. The hot and sour soup was edible, the sushi was horrible and old, the hot items might have been OK when they were fresh several hours before. The entire place seemed to need a good scrubbing... This is the 3rd time I have eaten there. The first time it was great but it has declined. Friday dinner with fountain drink $16. No crab legs, boiled mini crabs though, improperly cooked with skin rubbery. Frog legs taste off. Fish hard/dry. 30 minutes getting dinner items out on buffet. Over cooked piece of self-serve beef on bar. Most... More

My buddy Groucho swears by this place. I cannot get him to go to any other restaurant on the weekend. I understand why. There is a ton of food at a cheap price. After a hard week of work, it's a nice place to unwind. The variety the JB has is impressive with some basic pizza, fried chicken, etc. to... More

The food is pretty good, and the staff is friendly. Besides the Chinese assortment, they offer "American" style choices like corn, pizza, and macaroni 'n' cheese. I would suggest dining here for lunch on weekdays to avoid the usual weekend price increase. Their sweet rolls topped with sugar are quite tasty.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident, while traveling through Louisville. Nothing out of the ordinary on the outside or on the inside..... but the food was hot, fresh, and most of all TASTY! My wife is Asian, and we have eaten Asian buffets by the hundreds in at least 20 states as well as in Asia, and we agree... More

We ate here on a family trip to Louisville. I was traveling with my husband, 6 yr old, 11 yr old, and 2 month old. The food was pretty good and seemed fresh. The restaurant was quiet. There weren't very many other customers there. It was around 4:00 so it was an early dinner. It seemed like more people came... More

The items are tasty. I really like the sushi, soup, and appetizers. The place is old though and could use some badly needed remodeling and updating. The staff is okay but not overly friendly. If you like a Chinese Buffet for a good price this is the place.

After reading the reviews here I thought I'd roll the dice and give Jumbo a shot. I enjoyed the buffet as it was slightly better than average. The place was very busy and the food was always hot and fresh. Large variety including sushi. Service was awesome. I give this place 3 out of 5 forks. Check em out!

This place is kind of sketchy even for a chinese buffet. Very drab and usually pretty dirty. Even if it was cleaned i think the cook station behind the register would still look horrid. Food is pretty bland and the table service is hit or miss. I don't trust the sushi that hangs out all day. Look for your chinese... More
