El Mundo is by far the best mexican joint here in Louisville....Best fish tacos in fact they were the first to serve them here in louisville back in the mid 90's...now they are all the rage everywhere. There tamales are out of this world. Many reviewrs in town have compared this place to FRONTERA in Chicago a world class *****... more

I give them 3 stars for the drinks and food. The "rules" change every week. That gets annoying, but I keep going back for the drinks. more

I have been a regular customer at El Mundos for many years now because of their great food, good drinks and interesting atmosphere. Their margaritas are the best I've had in town and also the strongest - so beware of that! But the food is generally good. The spicy bean tacos, carnitas, tamales and tortilla soup are all worth coming... more
