Everyone enjoyed their entree.

We had out of town company and took them to Ramsi's. They loved the interesting, rather off-beat decor and we ate out in the courtyard. One person had Curried Chicken and Shrimp Paella. She said it was outstanding. I had the Prawn Gorgonzola--but I substituted Chicken and it was excellent. I... read more

I had not been to Ramsi's for several years because we have had such slow service over the years. We went there recently for lunch on a Saturday because friends were visiting and wanted to go there since it is on the Urban Bourbon Trail. It was not yet crowded. We had slow service yet again. I think the problem... More

Ramsi's has so many different foods from all around the world - their crab cakes are amazing as well as their plantain appetizer... All the girls I was with (3 others) loved their entrees as well.

This was a good stop for a late dinner, 8.30. We were in a large group so food didn't make it out all at once but each dish was well prepared and really delicious.

We ordered the Brie appetizer, which had a layer of nuts and with honey drizzled on it and around the plate. Very good, but we would have preferred some fresh bread rather than crackers to go with it. Wife went with a grilled Salmon that was on a bed of mashed taters with a creamy pepper sauce and sautéed vegies.... More

A little pricey on some items to be honest. I got the fried salmon sandwhich, good lord that was good, I was craving it the day after. The sauce was to die for. Around $10-12 for the meal. Good quality and taste. The environment and decor is crazy beautiful, to me at least, very neat. Good selection variety.

Many selections for vegans and vegetarians like salads and tofu dishes. Healthy food. You will need to make a reservation as this is a popular place and it gets crowded during dinner time. Food took a while to prepare but it was worth the wait.

Louisville is full of amazing places to eat but Ramsis never disappoints. Staff is quick and friendly (although waitress that exceeding talks or expose too much could.be toned down a notch. ) However the menu is for.vegans and meat eaters alike. Family friendly or would make for a great date. When nothing sounds good.. Ramsis does.

Probably my favorite restaurant in Louisville. They had a new menu on this vist and when I asked about an appetizer I really like that wasn't on current menu, the said no problem would be happy to make. That along with the rest of our food was excellent as usual.Great food,Great service, Great value.

I would give Ramsi's 3.5 if that was an option. Ordered the Egyptian Kitchen, enjoyed it very much. The crab cakes were overpriced for what they were, the sauce on them was not appealing (should be given on the side) and far too much breading vs actual crab was used. Service was efficient.
