I would give Ramsi's 3.5 if that was an option. Ordered the Egyptian Kitchen, enjoyed it very much. The crab cakes were overpriced for what they were, the sauce on them was not appealing (should be given on the side) and far too much breading vs actual crab was used. Service was efficient.

Ramsi's was selected for a group business dinner, and at first I thought it was a strange pick... but I was wrong. We had vegetarian and meat eaters, drinkers and non-drinkers, and everyone raved about their food. The service was friendly and fast for a big group. It's not a fancy place, but a place that makes you feel comfortable... More

We enjoyed a delicious Sunday brunch at Ramsi's Cafe on the World on our last day in Louisville. In a city of many fine restaurants, Ramsi's stands out because of its emphasis on organic produce and the flexibility of its kitchen, which can easily serve carnivores, pescatarians, vegetarians, vegans, and gluten- free diners. Ramsi's has an extensive menu for lunch... More

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel. Parking was a bit tricky (we were there at 5:30pm on a Wednesday) but once we found a spot it was a really quaint little restaurant. The menu is pretty big with a lot to choose from. I had the chicken parm sandwich which was fantastic. My husband had the Louis Marsala which... More

Fiance and I went here for a later dinner. Appreciated the extensive menu with many different selections. Our service was great however our order was slightly mixed up. Cozy atmosphere and over all a good experience. Will go again but wouldn't consider this place as a "must go" restaurant.

I've eaten several good meals here, but the last visit was terrible. The sautéed vegetables - snow peas, carrots, etc. - that accompanied my salmon didn't look very fresh, but I ate them. Until a small bug walked out from the bottom of the serving. I thought at first it might have been a fruit fly, but it wouldn't fly.... More

Great food unique atmosphere. Great place with local charm. Must try the focahchia bread appetizer. We have gone here special events and out of town guests. Always enjoy the meal and time there.

Go for the lunch hour, fresher food, still a full menu, and less crowded. They get busy during dinner time, and sometimes the food suffers. But I first went here in '90... had the Jamaican Jerk Chicken, left town for near on 20 years wanting another. Now that I'm back in town? It's still on the menu! Outdoor patio seating... More
