The brunch buffet was one of the most spectacular I've ever seen. So many options and not enough stomach! Decadent pastries, shrimp, roast, breakfast staples, and so much more. You won't be disappointed.

Everything about this meal was great. Exceptional service. Attention to detail. Formal yet relaxed. Food was beautifully presented and just as delicious. Well worth the price. I have paid more for meals that were not even close to this one.

We dined at the Oakroom the night before the Kentucky Derby - so were limited to the Prix Fixe menu. Each course was beautifully presented and the meal was delicious. Service was a bit pretentious but to be expected in a restaurant in this range. Expensive to be sure - but overall the experience was worth it.

If you ever have an opportunity to eat at The Oakroom, you have to go. Chef Patrick creates a menu fit for royalty. He is extremely accommodating to every individual's food preferences and was able to make every dish Gluten Free for me. His flavor combinations were perfect. Not overwhelming like a lot of fine dining restaurants I've been to... More

An incredible experience , Chef Patrick and staff turn eating into the definition of fine dining. Each dish takes you to a new level pleasing the palette and bathing the taste buds with stimulating sensations. A great selection of wine and spirits complement each bite, one of the finest meals I have ever had. A true cacophony of flavor .... More

My husband took me to the Oakroom for my 49th birthday. The atmosphere was very elegant and warm with a historical feel. The service was perfect. The food was beautifully presented and the delivery of all the courses was perfect. I couldnt decide on a particular drink so I asked that the bartender make me something with spiced rum and... More

Just went to Father's Day Brunch. I honestly don't have much to say about it other than it was pretty average. The Hotel and the Oakroom dining area are both very nice and classy in appearance. The service was fine but nothing special. The staff were cordial but somewhat disinterested. Some of the food was good, some just ok, but... More

We had the most wonderful experience in the South at the Oakroom. We stayed at the Seelbach for Kentucky Derby and ate there twice. IT WAS SPECTACULAR !!!! From the fresh seafood to the hand cooked beef...it was mouth watering. You must go there for a meal while in Louisville.

When I made my reservation I didn't realize it was the Sunday after Derby, so needless to say the place was packed. Our server Jamil came to the table and took our drink orders. He brought us one drink and asked if we were part of the "Derby Package". I said no. I am not even sure what the Derby... More

Please forgive us for the lapse in service. I will say that Jamal is one of our top servers and generally extraordinary in guest service...clearly we were "off" on your experience that Sunday and we sincerely apologize. Next time you would like to join us for brunch I'd appreciate it if you would let me know and I will make... More

We had a remarkable dinner in The Oakroom, The service was excellent but not stuffy. The plates were beautifully presented, and no detail was overlooked. Two of us had a duo of skate and halibut- both perfectly cooked, incredibly moist. The simple presentation allowed the excellent quality of the fish to shine through. My husband had the bouillabaisse, which was... More
