Stacy is amazing!

We love their BBQ and the service is always amazing! Stacy is usually our server and she is always professional and awesome. The brisket is delicious! The onion straws, chicken fingers, and wontons are all fantastic!

I have come to appreciate real smoked BBQ over the years, and this fits the bill. My son took me there based on a recommendation from a co-worker, so other than that we did not know what to expect. We had a feeling we might be in for a treat when we pulled up and saw the smokers out front... More

As is most usually the case in Louisville the best she has to offer are the small hole in a wall eateries. Sure the big chain restaurants are the norm, but once in a while you have to take a break from the over rated chains and take in a small independent restaurant. This place is a perfect example. This... More

Weather it's a cup or a bowl I have to have some every time I visit. Smoked brisket is the secret ingredient that has caused my addiction On our last visit my husband tried the bean soup. Now I am torn-the bean soup is chock full of smoked ham , the BEST bean soup I've ever tasted. The ribs are... More

The name of the place is deceiving because they serve one of the best BBQ meats around as well as beer. The restaurant used to be a gas station, but has been transformed into a BBQ haven and sports bar.

At first glance you might pass this place up but you would be making a big mistake. The food is wonderful (cooked on smokers right in the parking lot), and the staff and partons are friendly just like you own neighborhood bar.

My wife and I stopped in here after a day in town walking around the St James Art Festival. It looked like a fun place to eat outside. Inside was crowded and dark actually. I ordered the smoked chopped chicken sandwich and it was very good as also the baked beans and green beans sides had some real kick-butt flavor... More

Four of us stopped for dinner here the other night. We had passed by here many times but had never stopped in. It is a very casual restaurant with a lot of outdoor seating. A good 1/3 of the inside of the restaurant is a bar. Tables outside are wood picnic tables and tables inside are booths with wood bench... More

FABD is no frills: NONE! BBQ is wonderful, fries and rings are great. Beer is ice cold. If you're looking for luxury, elegance, etc., not the place to go. Want to hang out w/friends and not in hurry? This place is jusssst right.

Outside this little restaurant are two huge smokers. Filled with meat slow cooking, it's a great temptation. We stopped in to try it out. Seated outside for a mid-week lunch, it took us a while to flag the waitress to get waters. She then walked around a lot and passed us by time and again. When we finally were able... More
