I love the venison burger as well as the grippo fries. It's definitely a "hole in the wall" and always packed, but worth the wait. Prices are also very reasonable. They don't serve any other alcohol besides beer, though, but they have a wide selection of brews.

I love this place. Hidden in a Germantown neighborhood, the beer list is long and the food is a taste of comfort food the a flare of upscale cuisine. Nothing is off limits.

And that's a good thing. Very long wait- but you can grab a drink at the bar and wait outside. Would not be good for a big group, but excellent for a small group. Burgers are great- try the truffle fries!

We live in Louisville and try to do one new restaurant a month, usually 2, and one of them was Hammerheads. We had heard great things and they did not disappoint. I believe we actually went during the week so it was slower but we still had a small 15 minute wait. I imagine on the weekends it can be... More

Not the easiest place to find, but it's worth it. It's a very small place, after giving them your name, they tell you that you can go in and get a drink, but you have to bring it back outside b/c of space limitations inside. We were seated at the bar, the service was quick and friendly and the food... More

This is a great little restaurant in an unexpected location. You will likely have to wait in line, but its worth the wait. The duck sliders are a great appetizer to start with along with the Mac and Cheese Balls. We ordered the Vegetarian Tacos and the Ribs. Both were excellent. I highly recommend the Grippo and Sweet Potato Fries.... More

My son and I were looking for a decent non-fast food place for dinner. This is a very small place, so small that as soon as any part of your meal is ready it is brought to you. The food was absolutely some of the most fantastic food we have ever had. Organic and not overly cooked, just perfect. Only... More

I finally made it to Hammerheads after years of reading great reviews about this place - it should not have taken this long! But, better late than never, and Hammerheads did not disappoint. It's an interesting kind of set up, pretty much a dive in the middle of a neighborhood, but they have a great niche and great food. We... More

A little off the beaten path, but well worth seeking out! From the Mac and Cheese Balls appetizer to the brisket sandwich, tacos, Angus burger and pulled pork sandwich, everything our party had was delicious. Especially enjoyed the Truffle oil French fries - golden crisp and very flavorful. A friend told us after our visit that the pork belly sandwich... More
