Awesome pizza!!!

Went there because I received a coupon on the mail and I sure was not disappointed. They offer a lunch combo of an 8 inch pizza and soup for 9.50. That's a great deal and it includes any named pizza or make your own three topping one. The crust is crisp and toppings fresh. Go and check them out!!!

Went tonight with three young kids. Staff was super kind and patient with us. Kids throughly enjoyed the atmosphere and their standard cheese pizza. I had a gluten free "waverly" one of their signature pizzas. It was great! Great GF crust. I will def go back.

After reviewing a few different websites claiming that this was the best pizza in KY we had to try while visiting Louisville. NY style is my favorite crust and this place does an excellent job on the crust. We tried 3 different pizzas: a margarita which was classic, the Iriquois, which was my favorite - a spicy chicken pizza and... More

Coals serves an excellent thin crust pizza and other tasty menu items such as the meatballs. They have a few beers and full array of cocktails. Pricing is moderate. The restaurant is almost always crowded. Service is variable. I have had great and not-so great service. Usually the service is good. I would recommend this restaurant and I will return.

Enjoyed an evening with friends and family at Coals. Unique and inventive pizza choices. We ordered several different types of pizza that were all great. We were however a bit disappointed with the service. Some inattention and some "forgotten" requests dulled the evening some. Overall though, a good pizzeria that I would recommend.

Called to order take out on a Saturday night at 7:30. I was told they don't offer take out when they are busy. What kind of customer service is this? Went to Boombozz instead. Always good and even has a take out area.

The style of pizza takes me back to my childhood. Very authentic. A good variety of pizzas are available as well as beers and wines. The atmosphere is taverny and comfortable and the staff is very attentive.

We shared a Prospect (Greek vegetarian) and a Middletown (kind of a combo w/ meat pizza) and each was excellent. The crust was nice and thin with the right about snap. The place was full so we sat at the bar - very nice staff working the bar, even offered a few brew samples (gladly taken) before selecting a drink.... More

This is on the new Artisan Pizzaria in Middletown, Everyone was friendly and the pizza we ordered was the Middletown, it was great. The crust was light, well balenced. We had ordered some oven baked wings for an appitizer, the pizza showed up and when we asked about the wings the waiter went looking. The wings finally came and weren't... More

Amazing appetizers! Love the pizza: thin crust and baked to perfection! Prices, including alcohol, are great for what you get. One of the east parts was that everything was served hot! Hate cold food! Service was also good!
