Coals is the place! I have been to many of the pizza joints here in Louisville and can say I know my pizza. .. and Coal's had it. We will be back and we will tell friends about this place.

Coals has that upscale vibe and a cozy neighborhood feel that are great complements to a good meal. Be sure to try the appetizer meatball dish - especially great as it comes out steaming on a cool fall, winter or early spring day - we like it best with the white sauce but the marinara is good too - be... The crust here is my favorite in Louisville -- light, flaky, and delicious. Their lunch special -- a pizza and salad for $10 -- can't be beat!

My daughter lives in Louisville, and we make a point to eat at this place each time we visit! For 5-6 adults, we usually order 3 different pizzas and an appetizer. The crust is just perfect, and the flavors are all awesome! When you finish eating here, just walk down the shopping plaza for a great pie shop!

The pizzas here are awesome. The only problem I have is that I would like to see the smaller lunch sized pizza offered in the evening. The evening pizza is a family size deal so if I go out to eat with my husband and one of us wants pizza we both are forced into having pizza. Lunch offers an... More

This modern brick oven pizzeria has a great atmosphere and decent prices. My wife and I ordered different pizzas for lunch which were both phenomenal. I will definitely return.

When visiting Louisville we try to go here every third or fourth time. The quality of the wood-fired pizzas is excellent and their special ones are generally very good also. We have had the salads which are very good as well as wine and iced tea. Prices are reasonable, service good and atmosphere is informal. One can take well behaved... More

Great atmosphere, indoor or outdoor seating, nice bar setting. The pizzas are fresh and crisp, perfect size for two. Along with one of their fresh unique salads, a glass of wine and you have perfect!

My husband and I love pizza! We decided to try this place out and weren't disappointed. We got the Middletown and it was excellent. The atmosphere is fun and there is a good drink selection.

Fantastic! As a pizza fanatic and lover of NYC and Naples style pizza, this place rocked! Pizza was a bit thicker than NYC pizza and crispier than Naples style. And a big Hurray on the pepperoni! They don't use the fake orange large stuff the chains use! Fresh ingredients, flavorful and just great. Plus, truly coal fired by wonderful charred... More
