Mamma Mia..Love the Pizza!

Tucked away in a small and trendy retail space in the suburbs of Louisville you will find Coals Artisan Pizza. I've had pizza all over the world--from Baby Lobster Pizza in ShenZhen, China to the "real deal" in Italy--I've got to s, hands down, some of the best pizza I've every had. Our hotel staff recommended this place and it was great. Good pizza. Good choices for craft beer. Friendly staff. Highly recommend. And there is a delicious ice cream parlor next door.

Though I don't come here often, when I do its always a great experience. My favorite pizza so far has been the Bardstown white pizza. It's not greasy and it packs a lot of flavor. For me the pizzas here are big so I usually split one with a friend and we always have some left over to take home.... More

We tried three pizzas and all were very tasty! The pesto was a little greasy, but the Crescent Hill was delicious! Love the bacon on all three. Great waitress . . Very friendly and attentive. Great beer selection . . Draft and bottle. Able to sample. Will be returning soon . . . .yum!

We decided to give this pizza place a try after reading the reviews on trip advisor. We have been on vacation in golf Shores Alabama and we're on our way home to Ohio and decided to stop in Louisville for pizza. This place was definitely worth our drive. The pizza was great it was ready on time and we would... More

I held a committee meeting in their private room; everything was great- The service, atmosphere plus the many choices of specialty pizzas/ salad. I have planned three work related dinner/meetings here in the last year plus my husband and I enjoy the dining room/patio atmosphere often.

My family stopped here on a Sunday evening and dined on the patio. It was quiet since all of the shops in this little square were closed for the day, but the weather was nice, and the pizza was delicious. We each had a salad and a pizza with meatballs. The service was fine. We topped dinner off with a... More

Friends and I were looking for a low key place to grab a bite of food and watch a soccer game, I called ahead and they were happy to put the game on their TVs. They have a good selection of wine at the bar and their pizza selection is great - it is a great place to explore a... More

A nice change of pace when you're in the mood for quality pizza. The staff is quick to greet and seat while allowing plenty of time to decide on your meal.
