We enjoy this place for the pizza primarily because the wood burned crust is usually perfect - crisp with just a hint of sweetness. The beer list features Southern Tier and some other tasty brands. Outdoor seating on the patio is a treat. Cons- the price is high for what you get. Figure almost a pizza per person if you... More

Unfortunately, my friends and I had an unpleasant experience duing our dinner on May 22, 2013. The waiter overcharged us for our drinks and instead of correcting the mistake, the manager blamed us for the miscommunication. He was extremely rude and never once tried to remedy the situation. It was not until we presented the ultimatum: either fix our bill or... More

We went to Koal's because of the excellent reviews on this site. To make it brief: don't believe the hype. The pizza was good, but there are many other places that serve pizza of this quality. The service, however, was really lousy. Arrogant waiter, we waited 1 hour for a pizza that should take 10 min to cook.

The pizza at Coal's was very fresh, flavorful, and rich. You can tell it was prepared well and made with fresh ingredients. We also had the tiramisu for dessert and it was pretty good. The service was good and the atmosphere was comfortable. Definitely worth checking out!

I had the Waverly, which was a very cool take on pizza using balsamic, Gorgonzola, Romano, and more to make it truly unique. My wife had the Clifton, which was also good. A little on the greasy side, but still good.

We shared a salad and a pizza for dinner - just the right amount of food. Good beer choices and a nice wine list. The pizza was thin and crispy, with fresh ingredients and not too much cheese. Service was attentive, and helpful with the menu.

When we realized that two of our good friends had never been to Coals, we decided we had to introduce them. Having had the pleasure of introducing this great find with a dozen or more of our friends, we knew this was a winning choice for celebrating their birthdays. They couldn't believe how they'd never heard of it before. One... More

Tight quarters but cozy. Pizza is a bit pricey. However, the freshness of the toppings and the coal fired crust is pretty delicious.

Not all the reviews say it is. It is okay pizza, and the service is poor. There is good quality pizza at the Garage Pizza and other places in town with better ambiance and service.

We tried three specialty pizzas. They were all very good. We were in the restaurant on a Monday and it was not very busy we had a table immediately and our pizza was very quick.
