Unique Breakfast Menu. Fewer choices, but delcious.

Harvest is a great venue and the people there are very friendly. I always try to support local business and this is a great way to do so. Their food is delicious, but don't go here with a large appetite. The portions are small compared to the prices. It's a nice place for a craft beer and light dinner, but... More

We visited this establishment two years ago and were impressed but sadly disappointed this time. They served extremely overpriced small portions off a very limited menu. (A three ounce glass of California Chardonnay was $11.00). If you would like any bread before your meal, expect to pay for it. This restaurant was so noisy we couldn't hear ourselves talk. If... The food was good but a little "out there" compared to your typical brunch place. The French toast was superb but different. My wife got the omelet and enjoyed it but was skeptical at first given the included stuffings. There isn't a whole lot for the picky kid. All in all it was a good hip(ster) place with an interesting... More

This restaurant sources all its ingredients locally, and there is a map on the wall showing its suppliers. The menu is quite short, the portions were generous, and the food tasted delicious. The cheeses were a particular highlight, and it's the first time I have ever seen a completely US wine list. The wines were very reasonably priced too. One... More

My favoriite is the cheese board served on a board. They had a special salad that day with grilled asparagus, it was delicious. Then I ordered the BBQ board ona board. Grits, pork skewer, etc. Sooo yummy! We ended with bread pudding for dessert. An awesome dinner for an awesome day.

We had a recommendation from a local Louisville bartender to try the Harvest Restaurant and we did. We were impressed to see on the wall the pictures, names, and background of over 20 local farmers who supply produce, meats, etc. to the restaurant. We had a very good meal starting with cheese board of three excellent cheeses. The special for... More

The name is quite fitting since all their dishes are made with ingredients from farms that are within a 100 miles of the restaurant. They are very proud of their farmers and display their photos on the walls throughout the restaurant . We went for brunch and once again had a fantastic meal.i had the omelet of the day filled... I liked it here but , I didn't love it... I know that some people rave about it but I just really found the menu to be trying a bit too hard to be "eclectic" and "Inventive". I had the gnocchi which was just so-so and a salad which was fine. The bill however is right up there - $40... More

Love this place! The staff is great, the food is sourced locally and is creatively prepared. I had the BBQ sampler plate, delicious! The area that it is located is called NuLu, where they are trying to revamp this old downtown area and are very successful. All kinds of great restaurants and shopping around. Can't wait to go back!
