I was dining alone as I am in town for a conference. I was greeted quickly by Leo, who has exceptional "people skills." He asked if this was my first visit, what brought me to town, where I was from, etc, and he really seemed interested in the answers! He promised to check in throughout dinner, and he did. He... More

Considering its very convenient location downtown and professional service I would not hesitate to return for lunch or dinner. Three of our group sampled the salads and entrees while I grazed. The coctails and chopped salad were first rate, The salmon, sea bass and twin lobster tails were also spot on. I too loved the salad and crab cakes. The... More

My husband and I dined with two other couples. We didn't have reservations, but that didn't prove to be an issue. We waited at their beautiful bar just long enough to get our drinks, then we were shown to our table. We enjoyed a delicious meal and received attentive, friendly service. Our waiter assisted us with ordering. I had the... More

The Good: Stopped in on a Friday night for drinks and appetizers in the bar with friends, The service by the bartenders was good and they were helpful with wine by the glass and the bourbon selections. There was also a jazz band playing in the bar that was very entertaining. They even played 'Linus and Lucy' (Snoopy Song) upon... More

Amazing food and service. We were going to eat at the famous Oakroom but the menu was...meh. So we walked across the street to Eddie Merlot's. The Caesar salad was the best I've ever eaten. Amazing "caprese-type" salad. I had the planked salmon, hubs had the sea bass special. OMG. The peanut butter cup dessert was out of this world.... More

My wife and I went here for drinks that turned into a dinner. We were tooling around 4th street live having drinks and a good time when we finally made it to Eddie's. We were welcomed into the establishment and we requested seats at the bar. Our server immediately came to our attention and took our orders. I ordered dark.... More

Walking into Eddie Merlot's during Derby week. It is jam packed. First we pull up in the rented vehicle. Parking was around $20 for valet parking. I did it. Why not? I am on vacation. We were told it was a 2 hour wait. Hunger had set in. My friends went to use the rest room. I used my NJ... More

Derby Weekend, and Eddie Merlot's was SLAMMED! We had no reso so we grabbed one seat at the bar (for two of us) and made friends with those around us until finally another chair opened up. The two female bartenders were so busy but still took the time to be gracious and attentive. We started off with their chopped salad... More
