Great Mexican Food....Caliente!

An office-mate mentioned that Chuy's had good food and I was glad that I went and tried it when I was in Louisville on a business trip. The chips were thin which is how I like it...and it had 2 dipping sauces...both were spicy which I enjoyed! The service was excellent....and the entree I ordered... read more

This is a repurposed former restaurant location, now the largest Chuy's in the world. It is huge, with multiple dining areas inside and out. Very clean facilities, easy access parking and friendly staff. It is too pricey, yet the meats are fabulous quality and hugely portioned for the entrees. The taco salad is a good choice - 2 people could... More

I stopped here for dinner and had some enchiladas. I like spicy food, and this was certainly that! Usually in these sort of tex-mex places it doesn't get particularly spicy, but this almost went over the top. It was good though. The place was very busy and was a bit on the loud side. The staff was very attentive and... More

Pros: Location/Atmosphere, it is close to the mall, and there's a nice patio to sit on -that's about it- Cons: "Free" Taco Bar: says it goes until 7.. it was nearly empty at 6:30. Scraps of fatty meat, refried beans, chips and salsa. Not a fan Over priced drinks: The Happy Hour doesn't include wine, $7 for a glass of... More

Chuy's is a fantastic restaurant for our family (6 & 9 year olds). The service has never disappointed and the food is really good. Weekend waits can get a little long but it has never been unbearable- just grab a margarita from the bar! The price is VERY reasonable.

Chuy's used to be a family favorite, but after one of us was diagnosed with celiac, we stopped going for several years. This past weekend, after calling ahead, we gave it another shot. The server (Muhamad) and manager were excellent, assuring us that they could prepare our meat without marinade and that the chips were fried separately from everything else.... More

We visit Chuy's regularly, as my son has many food allergies and Chuy's is the ONLY restaurant where he can eat. Andre, the manager, always greets us with a big smile. He is fantastic with customers and makes everyone feel welcome. They customize our order without problem for my son, and even remember him when he calls in a take... More

The place was very busy and it is rated highly. It has lots of fans. Service was wonderful. Our waitress stopped by frequently and handled requests efficiently and effectively. Parking was packed. Make sure you only use the vehicles you need. We went at 7pm on a Sunday evening. The wait was maybe 20 minutes for 2 people. Apparently this... More

I know that Chuy's is a chain founded in Austin, TX. When we ate at the restaurant in Louisville, KY, I was very pleased to taste the Tex-Mex flavors I had grown up with -- especially in the red sauce! Great tasting food. Loved the atmosphere. We ate on the patio on a beautiful summer afternoon. We were very comfortable.
