After some research on where to get Italian dinner in Louisville, we opted for DiFabio's. We were glad we had the car's navigation system to help us get there efficiently. On the way, we did get to see some of Louisville's most beautiful neighborhoods. The decor reminded me of restaurants in the old Italian neighborhoods in Chicago. Though it's not... More

We ate with two of our friends and the results were mixed. Three of us had salads that were okay, just not anything memorable. My appetizer was excellent though. I had a baked goat cheese that was surrounded with Marinara sauce. It was incredible and only $7. My wife had the Fettuccine Alfredo and she said it was terrible. My... More

Was in the neighborhood and decided to give this place a try. The appetizers were half priced and they were great. Complimentary warm bread, so good! Creamy pesto pasta was ok, thats why I gave this restaurant 4 stars only. Service was 5 stars!!

Our group of 8 thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday Italian meal (and a bottle of white) before heading downtown to the Billy Joel concert. It was a first visit for most of us, and we all agreed we will return! The waiter was excellent- informative and attentive. I had the specials, but everyone else selected from the good number of menu... More

This was a great small family restaurant. Food was terrific, wait staff attentive. This is the kind of cozy, warm goooooood food place you love to go to for a meal in a relaxed atmosphere. There are open only a few hours each night -- would love to go there on a weekend for lunch -- but worth the wait.... More

This is one of my favorite Italian restaurants anywhere, with classic cuisine. Daily specialties are featured, often from private recipes, and the management/chef always seems pleased to provide my special requests if the ingredients are fresh and available to him. The menu includes a number of veal dishes and a wide wine selection/collection. If you're in the mood for a... More

This is a consistently good Italian restaurant. The chef is inventive along with the standards. It serves my favorite Piccata(veal or chicken) in Louisville. The service and food deserve 5 circles, but the ambiance keeps it from being a 5

If you're not looking close enough, you might just drive right by one of the greatest tiny Italian restaurants in Louisville.. and that is undoubtedly DiFabios! A very small, quaint restaurant that creates a romantic atmosphere. I went in the winter and it was excellent... A quiet restaurant to enjoy with your significant other.

A fairly small place. Red sauce Italian. Service is always good. Food is good. An excellent value. The goat cheese appetizer is excellent. Along with water in glasses, they put a carafe of water on the table which is helpful. Decent wine service and selection.

As others have mentioned in their reviews, it's sometimes hard to find an Italian restaurant in Louisville that's not a chain. We were very pleased on a recent vitis to DiFabio's and are quite happy to now have a good, local, Italian restaurant! The restaurant is small, but the dining room is cozy and charming. The background music was a... More
