Kentucky hot brown sandwich

We went here one evening just to try the Kentucky hot brown sandwich. It was tasty but rather huge. I understand they have a lunch size portion available which would've been a better idea. The beer was inexpensive but the wine was a bit pricey. The atmosphere was typical sports pub.

We recently ate at Winchell's for dinner and had yet another great experience. The servers are awesome and enthusiastic, and the food is unique. The menu is large with a lot of locally-sourced food, and the bar is lively without being obnoxious like some places can be. You can tell my the typical wait times that it is popular and... More

Went on a Mon ,which must be a slow night for them- few diners, which was great. Less noise, fast seating and great service . 3 couples + baby. No apps and dinners ranged from oysters, fish, soup and sandwiches. Everything was very good , but the white bean soup- which was lacking in taste .No desserts , everyone was... More

It puzzles me when they serve chopped bar-b-que plate and don't serve some type of bread with it. It was very good, but you didn't have anything to help with the sauce. Lots of regular locals seem to be there. I would go back and try it again.

The food was great, you get a lot of it for a good price. I had the hot brown and I struggled to finish it. It's a local spot that's busy so you may have to wait.

we decided to just snack on some food items and drink some beer. we ended up ordering the hot wings, fried green tomatoes and the fried chicken, which is supposed to be one of the best in town. Of course, the beer was good and cold. The service was a bit slow, but good overall. The wings were the hottest... More

Found this place via Google search while on vacation. Upon arrival were greeted and then later visited by the very friendly General Manager and server. All the right games were on and the beer selection was good. All downhill after that. Apparently we arrived thirty minutes before a shift change and the replacement staff sucked. The new server wanted nothing... More

I went to Goodyear to have my vehicle serviced today. After waiting for a while, I decided to walk down the strip center to find some lunch. I passed up a Subway and The Soup Kitchen for Winchells. I've only been here once and don't remember being impressed but I've heard people talk about how great the food is so... More

If you are looking for a great neighborhood restaurant where you can sit back and relax look no further than Winchell's. Winchell's offers a variety of different menu items, but no matter what you choose it's going to be great and you are not going to leave hungry. While the prices might seem a little high the portion size more... More

We had lunch on a Saturday around 1. The food was good but not worth the price. I've never paid $10.99 for a salad until today. It is loud and if you want to have a conversation with anyone you need to find another place to eat. Expect to pay about $3 more on entree's. Service was slow and we... More
