I went for dinner. Was seated immediately. I had the grilled chicken salad. I wanted the salmon salad but they were already out for the day. I liked the pickle appetizer. Will visit again.
I recently took my work team (group of 50+) to Ted's Montana Grill and we were extremely impressed with the food and the service. The food is unique (buffalo burgers, etc.) and little details like paper straws let you know that they approach the restaurant business differently than most. I will be back!
I ordered a No. 11 Bison Burger with raw horseradish and not the horseradish sauce and it was very good. I had an order of fries and onion rings. I wish I just ordered onion rings as the fries were average at best. Either the shorting was old or they held them too long. There were not crisp. Chris was... More
As we sat down I was telling my wife how Ted's was one of my favorite chain restaurants but then our food came out. Her baked sweet potato was undercooked and so was my bison NY strip. I ordered it medium-rare and it was still cold in the middle. The butter they put in top of the steak didn't even... More
This place specializes in Bison dishes, like the excellent Meatloaf I got or the Ribeye my friend Clarence got, which he said was one of the best he's ever had. The place seems upscale and is on the pricey side, but our waiter was always checking on us and gave us lots of extras like these delicious cucumber/pickle slices, nice... More
Yeah. The three of us ordered a salad at Teds Montana Grill for lunch. I've been to other Teds but thought I'd eat quick and light. My wife had a grilled cedar plank salad. Her friend and I each had chicken Cesar salads. All excellent. The only hitch was the place was a bit short staffed. Our waiter was also... More
Awesome burgers are just the beginning. Very good fries. I ordered the bunless burger with kale salad. It came with asparagus and sliced tomatoes too. Very tasty food. Great atmosphere and service.
In Lexington visiting a friend and stopped at Ted's for a bison burger. As always the service is friendly, the burgers great and the sweet potato fries tasted like they were made just for us. A nice touch was the Kentucky Beer Barrel Ale to pair with the burger.
Absolutely no complaints. Very satisfying portions of good food. Only complaint was the waiter took an abnormally long time to retrieve our credit card after delivering the bill. That is usually the quickest part of the meal. Waiter was a little occupied with the bartender if you get my drift.
If you overlook the ego involved where famous quotes on the wall include those of Ted Turner (hence the name "Ted's") the whole concept is quite good. The decor is pleasant, the food tasty and somewhat unique (lots of bison) and the prices reasonable. The wine list is somewhat limited, but very good (though not cheap). Overall, I would happily...
