As always this was a great experience. Food was awesome and service was even better. My drink never even came close to getting low before the waiter had me a new one ready. He even brought me a to go drink at the end without even asking me. Awesome experience!!!

Great atmosphere and awesome food. I have never had a bad meal at this place. My biggest complaint is the long wait for a table...try to reserve ahead.

We usually go to the Merrick Inn but wanted a change. Stopped in here to have a drink and a good steak, left after having 1 good steak and a free dessert. Service was ok. Thomas was our waiter and spread VERY thin. Calamari was very good. I ordered the 10 ounce top sirloin and was given a medium well... More

If you haven't tried the Weekend Brunch at Sal's, you are truly missing a treat. I am currently working my way through the menu items. My favorite so far is the Quiche. A close second is the chicken and waffles. Then top it off with a mimosa. We enjoying visiting on Sunday following church. Ask for Angel. He will take... More

Sal's has a great atmosphere and good food. Ask for the Harry's menu for more, less expensive, options. Their ham and brie sliders are very good. Only complaints I've had is the smell of burning garlic I've experienced there on 2 occasions and on my last visit they seated us at a table with dirty glassware on the table and... More

best meal I've had in Kentucky. very expensive, but you get what you pay for! servers can be a little on the snooty side. I had a filet with potatoes. always perfectly prepared.

What a great place for a Sunday brunch. Fabulous service, and wonderful food. All served with charm at tables in booths. Quite simply I can't wait to go back there. My favourite restaurant in Lexingto

My wife and I and another couple revisited Sal's last week, and the results were equally as good as the visit in March. Our meal was outstanding in all levels. The bread is some of the best available, the fish dishes are superb, and the desserts are tops(the peanut butter pie has to be one of the top desserts in... More

I must say, I dined here on business and had a wonderful time. The atmosphere is pretty dark, with large, comfortable booths that give off a cognac and cigar lounge feel, sans the cigars of course. The majority of the menu was seafood, so it's a bit misleading to represent this place as Italian. It's not a bad thing since... More
