They never cleared our appetizers from the table until our meals were served..... an hour and half later. Other tables were served before us and it wasn't that busy. Food was just Ok as well

What a great place to dine. We had a memorial service dinner for our friend who passed away last month in the private dining room in the basement. Very cool location. Excellent staff. Even the manager(maybe owner?) helped out with our large group. Food was wonderful. The bruschetta has this warm gorgonzola sauce under the grilled bread-wonderful! My osso buco... More

The prices are on par for a high-end restaurant. The service was a bit snooty. The food was good, but not entirely on par with high-end quality. I recommend the apple and goat cheese salad. The veal marsala meatballs were good...if you like your meatballs of a squishier consistency.

We don't get to visit Lexington, KY often but when we do we make sure we dine at Portofino. Nice ambience, great service and satisfying food.

We had dinner here after attending Greek Sing at UK (an excellent event to attend). The restaurant has a very nice setting, with a quiet, intimate feel to it. We all had pasta dishes, with each of us being incredibly happy with our meal. I have the veal marsalla meatballs and pasta, which was an excellent meal. Very tender, very... More

This restaurant is very nice and has the ambience that one would expect for fine dining. Waitress staff was very hospitable and of course the southern accent that would expect! I would most definately visit this restaurant again.

Tried this restaurant during Lexington's restaurant week. Very impressed. We did seem to be the youngest in there and we are in our 40s! Bean soup was lovely to start with garlic butter for the bread. We were warned the garlic was strong and our server was right but it was so good. Flank steak for main course cooked perfectly.... I had dinner here with two other colleagues on a Friday night. Lets start with the positive. They have Pepsi products, and specifically Mountain Dew. Now the negative. Everything else was very average and overpriced. The bread they serve you is nothing special. I ordered the tomato soup, and again, it was nothing special. I ordered the gnocchi as an... More

Our party of 7 thoroughly enjoyed our meals here....I ate probably the best lasagna in my life, to bad I couldn't finish it all....the wine, food, service, & atmosphere at this establishment, is top notch & I hope we return next yr.
