Who could ask for more? Leafy greens, nuts and a perfectly blended dressing, match that up with a wood fired pizza and you have a meal that in my estimation is hard to beat. It's simple quick and delicious.

My sister and I were on our way to Louisville and decided to stop in to Smashing Tomato for dinner. We ordered a Margherita pizza and a Caesar salad and split the order. Serving size was spot on, pizza was great, salad was excellent. All for about 12 bucks. Oh, and the service was fabulous, very friendly and very fast.... More

If you are not a fan of the chain pizza places and are looking for an authentic italian pizza, this is the place. The manager's special is a great deal. You get a personal size pizza and the choice of soup or salad. We usually get the chopped salad which is a nice leafy green salad with a fantastic dressing... More

Great authentico rustic pizza and Ceasar salads! We love taking the family out on Thursdays for 1/2 price bottles of wine and a managers special (large) ~ $25 (+tip).

A unique pizza. nice light but toasty crust. Was not dripping with oils like many pizzas are. Was a really good deal too. I paid under $10 for a 12" pizza that I would rate as a gourmet type.

Stopped in for dinner on a Thursday evening, which was awesome timing because Thursday night is Wine Night. All bottles are $10. They didn't have a great selection but we were able to find something decent to go with our pizzas and salad. We both ordered the manager's special, which was a 12" pizza and a salad with their delicious... More

On our way south through Lexington, my husband, adult son and I stopped for lunch at a great pizza/salad place just off Highway 75. It was a short way off the freeway and around the back of a mall but definitely worth the tiny detour. We sat outside(there were 3 tables) and enjoyed pizza(the men) and a great salad (me).

Decided to patronize Smashing Tomato based on Trip Advisor reviews, and was looking for an alternative to Joe Bologna's and Mellow Mushroom (been there, eaten that). We got an order of sheet music bread, an Italiano (with Neapolitano sauce), a Margherita (with Smashed sauce - paid extra for olives) and two beers (IPA 6 and Samuel Adams). This is a... More

Fun place for families to get great wood fired pizza quickly. Very good: artichoke dip appetizer, calzone ( huge), all pizzas were great but the four cheese was excellent!

A good spot for pizza and salad not far from hotels at I-64/I-77 on east side of Lexington. Clean, quick service. Panera-esque atmosphere, but with sounds of Sinatra. Large portion salads. Nice sweet vinaigrette on chopped; Caesar salad a bit over-dressed. Flat bread delicious. Four cheese and Marguerite pizzas tasty and "wet" (heavy on olive oil) as advertised. "Smashed" sauce...
