Quite a find!

My wife found this place on line. We are always up for the experience of finding a great place to eat. Guess what? Found one at the "Windy Corner Market". We will keep coming back until we have tried it all. Go on line and check out the menu...much to choose from.

My wife and I live just down the road from Windy Corner but had never been. Read some good reviews and were excited to try it and hopefully have a new favorite near home. My wife had the fried shrimp, fries, hushpuppies and slaw. The slaw was delicious, hushpuppies were not edible (dry, overcooked and almost no flavor), fries reminded... More

Our family visited the Saturday after Christmas for the first time. We really enjoyed the food and service. They atmosphere was pleasant and very family friendly. I had a basic breakfast platter and my son has chicken tenders... They seemed really good hard to tell with his reviews (he's 8) we would like to try dinner one evening soon too!!... More

We have been to Windy Corner several times now. We find it better each visit. Quaint, general store feel, but with the foodie in mind. The food is wonderful. A must stop if your in town.

We were in Lexington a few weeks ago to do some Christmas shopping and decided to check out Windy Corner Market. Our main purpose to visit was to purchase some Ky made food products for the baskets I was fixing my adult children for Christmas. I was disappointed when I first walked in because the place was very small and... More

I was in town for business and was encouraged by some co-workers to visit this spot for lunch. They said I would love it; I was skeptical. I LOVED it!! On a scale of 1 to 10: Atmosphere (very casual and fun) - 9, Variety of options (basically a sandwich spot with a hint of Bayou goodness) - 8.5, Healthy... More

I ate here 3 times in the past several months while visiting Lexington. Good reviews online I can confirm them. The service is friendly, the atmosphere open and inviting, basically like a country farm house. Nice, scenic drive to get out there from the city. I had a po-boy (good), meatloaf special on Monday (very good) and the shrimp and... More

Short jaunt from Lexington. Our table shared the Tuesday special shrimp and grits, chili, several sides. Looking forward to returning next month and trying something else.

Just loved this "joint", I enjoyed an unpretentious lunch in horse country - the best introduction to Lexington! It is quaint, fun and delicious! Of course, I ordered a Kentucky beef burger; be sure to do the same! The atmosphere is exactly what I would have imagined when visiting a friendly farm - like family!
