It's hard to say which is better, the scenery or the food. The restaurant is located in an historic building and the inside is decorated like an old fashioned general store.

We decided to meet friends at WCM on our way up 75. Great location and even better food. It is about 10 minutes off the freeway and it looks like they've recently added parking. The menu was full of great choices but we shared the special of the day. The milkshakes were good and the beignets were fabulous.

I was visiting my daughter in Lexington and she suggested we eat breakfast here. The drive to the restaurant is beautiful. It takes you past some of the most gorgeous horse farms in the world. We got there and in the pasture were 3 mares and their foals. The food was wonderful. I had 2 eggs over easy - cooked... More

This restaurant has lovely, creative food options, but 5 of the 22 lines on our long receipt either didn't come to our table correctly or didn't come correctly or at all. Once we actually got the right food, it was yummy, but what's the point of a complicated ordering system if it's not helping? The staff was nice and helpful... More

I was brought here when I was visiting Lexington for work and it quickly became one of the best meals I had on my two-week trip. Frank, who worked there, quickly learned our names and actually remembered them when we returned the following day...we couldn't stay away! The food is fresh and delicious and worth the trip!

Any time you see a lot of cars parked in front, that is a good sign. Not fancy, but homey with good food. Would definitely eat here again.

Recommended by our tour guide at the Thoroughbred Center, this was a great stop for lunch. The best part? It was right next to a paddock with a couple of mares and foals.

Perfect spot for a gorgeous Kentucky Saturday afternoon. The drive out to Windy Corner is one to roll the windows down for. You pass by horses that live in better houses than most people. I had started to question if I had driven to far into the county when I saw the cutest little Southern Eatery nestled at the corner... More

Great food in a rustic setting. Not far off the beaten path, and the scenery is postcard material -classic Central Kentucky.
