When I first discovered this place year's ago, I thought 'what? way out there?' But when you get here, you'll understand. A great casual place with some really good food. I never order the sandwiches and have always ordered the breakfast items or dinner and haven't been disappointed. Lots of locals frequent this place, so that should tell you something.

Grits are best in Lexington. Coffee and peach tea are simply put, delicious! We've been visiting Windy Corner since its opening and have never been disappointed. We especially love the atmosphere as it demonstrates what Lexington is all about. Friendly staff, green rolling hills, and horse farms are just a few of its attributes. Having a wife from Louisiana, over... More

My husband and I had been wanting to try this place for a long time. A few months ago, on one of his rare days off, we drove the 45 minutes to this place from our house. It was quaint and the baked goods looked appealing. We had 4 children in school that day and decided to buy lunch as... More

Finally a sunny Sunday with time for a drive to check out Windy Corner Market. The drive was a bit longer than I expected but worth it. Such a beautiful drive, with a charming restaurant and great food at the end. We drove down Bryan Station Rd and would have missed the restaurant if it wouldn't have been for all... More

Remotely located, but always busy. You'll see people in everything from jeans to jodhpurs to suits. They come in on horses to motorcycles to Mercedes. And, everyone leaves happy. My personal favorite is the Shrimp Po Boy. Can hardly get it in your mouth, but you will. Great desserts. Oh, and a beautiful drive out Paris Pike or Bryan Station... More

My daughter just moved to the Lexington area & they live in a pretty remote area. I wanted to take them out to dinner & they said there was a place down the road called Windy Corner. Since we were up to our eyeballs in unpacked boxes & unable to do much meal prep, I was more than happy to... More
