This restaurant is no longer open..... It probably was not poor..but I wanted to make sure people know this restaurant is no longer open. We thought it sounded good...but then found it to be closed.

Don't bother. Me and my boyfriend went there because I bought a groupon and it was about to expire. The atmosphere is bad, clearly this place used to be a funeral home. At about 6pm there were only a couple of other tables that had guests at them. When my boyfriend ordered the ceasar salad the waitress came back from... More

Not an ideal location, just south of the downtown, but the hospitality and authentic Northern Italian food more than makes up for it. We are local and visit several times a month. The vegetable lasagna is my wife's favorite and I will eat anything, as long as its paired with their amazing risotto. Though I have my favorites, the seafood... More

This place is amazing! The food was great, all authenic and mostly homemade. We had a wedding shower there and they went the extra mile for us.

My husband and I are out to taste our way through Lexington, and we decided to make Casanova our target this weekend after reading several good reviews, including a recent one from the leading local paper's food writer. Yes, the exterior has the feel of an old funeral parlor. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find that, while the interior... More

Located in a spot dozens of previous restaurants failed, pulling up on a Sunday night the vast parking lot was empty. Should have turned around & left then. At 6:30, 2 tables occupied, 2 waiters working. Menu is typical So. Italy. Sauces mediocre, pasta soft & service out of touch with the concept of "service". All ala carte and pricey... More

I showed up for lunch, and there was no one to greet me. I had to wait for 20 min. and already walked out the door before someone came after me to get me a table. There was only one other customer there. The wait wasn't very long and I really liked the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. I had a Groupon... More

The table wine was pretty decent and the swordfish was great, although I can understand if some people would think it's overdone...I like my food well cooked except when I'm eating sushi or sashimi. Our server was really outstanding, not trying to hurry us up nor was he overly attentive.

I had the lobster ravioli. The BEST PASTA EVER! The ravioli were large handcut and filled with delicious lobster filling with a light creamy white sauce. I am dreaming about it today and can't wait to have it again. My wife had the Filetto Al Pepe Verde (Dry Aged Angus Fillet Mignon) pan simmered in butter and fresh green pepper... More

A friend of mine and I decided to have a nice dinner out and chose Casanova because there was a great Groupon deal and we are relatively broke grad students. I was excited for good Italian food. I could not have been more disappointed. The atmosphere was strange, which I ultimately recognized as the bizarre combination of very dim lighting... More
