This is real deal soul food.

Spicy perfectly fried chicken. Need I say more? Oh-ok. Well, it is always an adventure going to Indi's but it is worth it! There are a lot of sides to choose from too. Just go.

Most of us liked the chicken and the Mac and cheese was excellent. Not a fan of the cole slaw. The potato wedges were unexpectedly spicy but otherwise good.

The anti-corporate fast food chicken joint. I love it just for that reason. You just can't franchise this kind of cooking. Hard working folks too.

The best hot wings in town. The chicken is great whether it is spicy or mild. Highly recommend for anyone. The service was quick with little waiting time even when ordering 100 wings. Wonder why the person who rated Indie's as terrible keeps going back?

Looks & location are deceiving. We have been eating Indi's chicken for decades. The taste never changes. Always delicious. Ear their chicken once and you will never go back to Chain Store chicken again Their health Department rating is always in the 98-100% rating. Have never seen it lower. Wings are spicy so if you don't like spicy food, choose... More

Came here at the suggestion fo a friend actually from Kentucky (the running joke was that the rest of us expected him to take us to a KFC). Very cheap (like, they had 91 cent drinks on the menu!!) but everything was tasty! Warning, the sides with the chicken boxes are very small so if you brought your appetite get... More

This place. The chicken. The greens. The mac & cheese. Holy cow. I'm not crazy about the chicken fingers, which are not the same as the rest of the chicken products they offer. Indi's food is amazing, and I've stood/sat in line for it numerous times. I've waited 30 minutes without even caring. I recommend it to people all the... More

This gem has some of the best spicy fried chicken one can ask for! Their fried chicken is their staple food, but anything here is good. Their collard greens are amazing, as well as their mac and cheese, potato wedges and egg rolls (yes! Egg rolls at a fried chicken place!) If you enjoy sweet tea, make sure to grab... More

Me and my girlfriend and friends went here one night and had a awesome meal. Be prepared for the long lines when you get there. If you love chicken hands down better then KFC.

I ordered the Spicy chicken wings from here and I really enjoyed them. They are very greasy, but that is expected with fried chicken. You'd probably want to stir clear if you have issues with heartburn.
