Nice place

Ate here while in town for the bourbon trail. It was a warm night; we ate in the 'open air' area. There is also a patio. Since it was a Monday it was not crowded. Prompt service, good specialty cocktail. Enjoyed the grilled wedge salad. We like to try local places and avoid the chains.

The food was reasonably good, but it took 65 minutes from the time we arrived before our food was at our table. The server "apologized for the wait" but otherwise seemed unconcerned.

This is my second time at this establishment. Our server, Nicole, was excellent. The food was okay this time. The burger was overcooked and so was the fish and chips. It wasn't a big deal. My biggest issue and the reason why I'll never return is cigarette smoke in the outdoor seating area. I live in Virginia and there cigarette... More

We decided to eat here on a whim. We thought they might have a larger tap selection, but they don't. They have some good local selections, but I was really surprised by their pizza selections. In fact, we had a hard time choosing between the bleu cheese and the hot brown... Yes, those are pizzas!!! We finally decided on the... More

I am not a pizza lover, but what a delicious surprise. Fresh out of the oven, thin crust; lots of meat! I started with battered mushrooms and finished with a pizza big enough for a couple. Fresh, hot and yummy! I have been to Lexington numerous times and have so many favourites; but am still looking to try different places... More

Visited Grey Goose as part of the Blu Plate Food Tour and was thoroughly impressed. We were given the Balsamic and Pesto pizza as part of the tour and it was EXCELLENT! The atmosphere in the restaurant is relaxed and attractive. There is a large courtyard in the rear of the restaurant that may become my new favorite place for... More

Very busy but good service and good food. As with any college town, parking can be an issue. We recommend eating outside as it was very pleasant.

Having heard good things, we made a Friday night visit -- and were sorely disappointed! Service was slow and inattentive (we had to pull over extra chairs after being seated; waving down a server was a constant challenge). Being told the specialty was their thin-crust pizza, that, too, was a disappointment. All told, not worth the effort.

We stopped in for drinks and a snack. We had artichoke and spinach dip followed by an outstanding Italian pizza with added pepperoni and mushrooms. The pizza was exceptionally good. The service was prompt and pleasant. Really like the warmth of exposed bricks and neighborhood vibe. We would definitely go back.

I wanted to like this restaurant - I really did. Howeve, the service was AWFUL. I felt like we were going to have to throw ourselves in front of our waiter to get him to acknowledge us. And once he did, getting a drink refill was another looong wait - then we were served warm "iced" tea with no ice.... More
