Description: At Bourbon n’ Toulouse you’ll feel more like a friend than a customer. Will Pieratt and Kevin Heathcoat were mentored by Joe Vuskovich, the founder of Jozo’s Bayou Gumbo chain and Yats restaurants. Like Joe, they are truly passionate about what they do. Always cook'n and laugh'n, these guys are serious about having fun! Stop in and sample the wide variety of tasty dishes, check out the great beer selection and colorful local art that grace the walls. The price is right and so is the atmosphere. Not bad for a washed up musician and a retired elementary teacher!

Great value and a great variety of Cajun and creole. Always a couple of vegetarian selections, too. Beer available. Highly recommend.

Stop in, eat, leave happy. The craw-fish etouffee is one of my all-time favorite dishes. Sweet tea made to perfection.

Avoid!!!!! This was the nastiest stuff I have ever tried to eat! I ordered the shrimp etouffee and he got the "gumbo". I was served a small styrofoam plate full of instant white rice with some sort of foul orange goo glopped on top of it and about 4 1/2 fat shrimp. I managed 2 bites, nearly gagged, fished out... Great food, great atmosphere, great people! I love the caramelized black beans and corn. The bread that comes with it is fantastic.

I had the black bean and sausage, I swear the sausage was just cut up hot dogs! My wife had the honey bbq sand, that was really good. The food was good and the atmosphere was really cool. Good to have variety in Lex., but I've had better in other cities, so for here, it's good. It's a nice change... More

From the street it looks like a little hole in the wall with outdoor seating. And it sort of is, except it is an excellent place to get the delicious Cajun food you will find in similar locations in New Orleans. They have a wide range of Cajun delicacies, although some are only available occasionally. One reason for this occasion... More

I first went here in 2008. On this visit I had a great talk with the owner Kevin. We talked about all the items on the menu and about their philosophy on making this a great place to eat. I always get the jambalaya and crawfish etouffee. The food is delicious! You have a myriad of hot sauces to add... More

I have been to New Orleans many times and am very happy to have this LOCAL restaurant right here in Lexington serving fine food. Celebrating Fat Tuesday there tonight...non stop food service for hours. It's a big party....

The food is really good here. The atmosphere of the restaurant seems a bit run down, but the prices are quite reasonable. Service is really quick also.

You will never go wrong coming here. Everything is fresh and perfectly seasoned. All kinds of hot sauces are available. Our favorites are jambalaya and shrimp étouffée. My son loves the BBQ. Always crowded but worth the wait.
