Description: In July 2004 Will Pieratt and Kevin Heathcoat took a the huge leap of faith and opened Bourbon n' Toulouse by maxing out seven credit cards and simply hoping things worked out for the best. The business plan was simple: cook some damn good food, give back to the community that help keep their lights on and have as much fun as the law allows! Ten years later these guys are still extremely passionate about what they do and they haven't grown up a bit, just ask their wives! Always cooking and laughing, these guys are serious about having fun. Stop in and sample the wide array of tasty Cajun and Creole dishes, grab a beer from the ever changing selection and drift away to their own little version of The French Quarter. Not bad for a washed up musician and a retired elementary teacher!

I ate lunch here during my one day visit and can't wait to go back. I had Black beans and carmelized corn. Very well seasoned and tasty. I would have like more beans in the dish. Next time back, I'm going to try the Red beans and sausage, or the Jambalaya, or maybe the Chicken étouffée. Decisions, decisions, They have... More

The étouffée is good, but what kind of Cajun place serves hot dogs? Very strange. I didn't care for the jambalaya as it tasted like it was prepared and frozen.

If you live or visit the area and you don't eat here, you should get your taste buds checked. Seriously good food in a casual setting--so what's not to like?

This place doesn't look like much from the outside and on a busy night a seat will be hard to find a seat, but if you want a good reminder of New Orleans, this is the place to come. Get it to go if you don't like the crowd, but it's worth it!

I love crawfish étouffée. Been many places but they make it the best! I order extra bread. Use the Cajun garlic sauce. It's simply better... You can tell they make everything from scratch.

A delightful "hole in the wall" eatery! The vegan selections, though limited, were delish and the carnivores in my family were enraptured by the shrimp etouffee and the varied hot sauces.

The food was alright, nothing mind blowing (it's difficult to go wrong with creole food). You pretty much get what you pay for.

Loved the atmosphere the food was poor Please people dont tell us you`re serving Cajun / Creole and serve what I just ate. That`s insulting to all lovers of food especially those from The Great State of Louisiana. One good thing they do serve Abita Amber and West Sixth Beers Geaux Tigers!
