In July 2004 Will Pieratt and Kevin Heathcoat took a the huge leap of faith and opened Bourbon n' Toulouse by maxing out seven credit cards and simply hoping things worked out for the best. The business plan was simple: cook some damn good food, give back to the community that help keep their lights on and have as much fun as the law allows! Ten years later these guys are still extremely passionate about what they do and they haven't grown up a bit, just ask their wives! Always cooking and laughing, these guys are serious about having fun. Stop in and sample the wide array of tasty Cajun and Creole dishes, grab a beer from the ever changing selection and drift away to their own little version of The French Quarter.

Not bad for a washed up musician and a retired elementary teacher!

Yummy Cajun food

I love Bourbon and Toulouse. It is a great place to eat whether just for a quick lunch or to bring home dinner to the family or unexpected guests.

My wife and I went for a late lunch this past Saturday. It surpassed all my expectations. Food was great. Spicy, but not too spicy. Sauces were spot on what I expect in Cajun cooking. Bread hit the spot and quieted the slight burn. Adequate beer selection (bottles only). Very eclectic interior. Actually kind a hole-in-the-wall, but that's exactly the... More

We've heard of this little restaurant, but had never taken time to visit and try it out until this evening! I wish we had come sooner. Food is a 10 for taste and quality. Restaurant itself wasn't at all what we expected; it's small, rustic and very casual. However, some of the best food comes from little dives like this!... More

A friend of mine took me here on a visit. Tried the crawfish etouffee and loved it. Another place I love to come back too. Prices are good and you get alot of food. Will go back. Only negative is parking.

I have been cooking cajun/creole food for about eight years now, and have been in search of the best gumbo in the world. The best gumbo is only served in peoples' homes. You need an invitation. The next best is going to be in either a place like K-Pauls or at Bourbon and Toulouse. I have had them both and... More

Small local restaurant. Eclectic artsy atmosphere. Very good Cajun food. Bread with buttery spicy spread is awesome!

I live in this neighborhood and I frequently go to B&T for lunch and dinner. I bring all my friends and family visitors here as well. So good, and for an amazing price. I would recommend this to anyone. (Black Beans & Carmelized Corn is my persona fave)

Cajun food bowls are always a welcome treat. These folks do it right and have for years. Carry out is a good option from any of the locations.

Let me first say that 3 stars for me is not a bad rating. I had reasonably good food (etouffe) here served by nice folks. The atmosphere here is funky and fun, fits well in a university town. I enjoyed my meal, it just didn't seem unique or special for me which is why it is a 3 and not... More

Lots of art on the wall. Food is fast and there's a couple good bars next door so what more could you ask for
