In July 2004 Will Pieratt and Kevin Heathcoat took a the huge leap of faith and opened Bourbon n' Toulouse by maxing out seven credit cards and simply hoping things worked out for the best. The business plan was simple: cook some damn good food, give back to the community that help keep their lights on and have as much fun as the law allows! Ten years later these guys are still extremely passionate about what they do and they haven't grown up a bit, just ask their wives! Always cooking and laughing, these guys are serious about having fun. Stop in and sample the wide array of tasty Cajun and Creole dishes, grab a beer from the ever changing selection and drift away to their own little version of The French Quarter. Not bad for a washed up musician and a retired elementary teacher!

good food for the money

everything is super spicy, so not kid friendly...unless they like hot dogs. They have great options for vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. And $1PBR....who can go wrong with that!

The environment is so-so and the cleanliness is less than desirable. I went there as a YaYa alternative and was disappointed. I do have friends that love this place so I'll give it another try at a later date.

My wife and I recently stopped here for supper. We thought it was more of a sit down restaurant but still enjoyed our visit. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and offered samples to decide what we wanted to order. We both ended up getting half and half plates for $7.50 so we could try 2 menu... More

If you're looking for some good ole New Orleans dinning then keep walking. This place is not for that. You walk in, and aren't greeted as you place your order at a counter with a huge chalk menu. You make your selection and wait for pick up. Meanwhile you go forage for condiments, and your drink. I picked up my... More

Every time I go to BnTs, I just know I am going to be treated well and my dish is going to be delish. What more can a girl ask.

This place always has yummy offerings. Try two halfs to enjoy two things for lunch. The garlic butter still needs some work (as it always has), but they have Ale8 and fountain Coke, so what's not to like?

Two of us ate for $12 including drinks. It was delicious. Bread was wonderful. Very friendly workers. Can't wait to return.

Had great expectations as I had heard wonderful things about this restaurant, so we tried it during a Lexington visit as a family group. The people were lovely, but the food is quite ordinary. Very big on sauces which made up the bulk of the dishes. So if you are looking for an inexpensive quick bite, it's not bad for... More

They usually have about 12 things on the menu. You can get small or large. You can get a large as half and half of 2 separate items. And you can get each thing over either rice or pasta. Simple. I hesitate to list my favorites, because I've never had anything be disappointing.... and really it's a matter of taste.... More
