Food is pretty good, the only issue I have had is in the summer they are pretty warm and they leave the door open sometimes. The food is hard to enjoy when the place is hot and flies are plentiful. We went again in October and the atmosphere was much better.

My friend and I found this quaint little restaurant two years ago when we were looking for someplace to meet for a Christmas time dinner. The food was excellent. The servers were friendly. The decor was inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant. We plan to make it our annual meeting place. - KM Ramsey, IN

If you are a train buff, you will love this place. If you like incredible food, you will love this place. We had a dozen folks in for our annual Christmas lunch outing from Louisville. We started with the fried pickles, fried green tomatoes, and nachos! We could have stopped there and just ordered an endless supply of the fried... More

We went to this restaurant on the advice of the hotel we stayed at and were not disappointed. The food was very good with an array of some of the favorites in Kentucky. The best thing was watching the train go right past the front of the place. It is one of three in the country that have an actively... More

I recently had the opportunity to stop in here for dinner and was not dissapointed. Their "house" burger was packed with toppings and perfectly cooked. They had a fried pineapple upside down pie for dessert that night that was amazing. I will definitely stop in here on my next visit to LaGrange!

We ate there again today for the third time in a month. The hot brown is huge and tastes so good. I have also enjoyed the Train Wreck. The food here is a variety of combinations. It is not like any other place in the area. There's something for everyone. We finished it off with the vanilla ice cream with... More

Love their braised beef roast - tastes just like home. Also like the pork medallions and who doesn't lkth hs Thansgiving dinner every day! Wish they had more variety of their breading on appetizers - all are made with Panko which is OK but I am am old fashioned Beer batter girl! Desserts are all very good- really love the... More

My husband and I had the special which was a smaller version of the Kentucky "Haute" brown and a grilled pimento cheese and bacon sandwich with their homemade kettle chips. We always split everything so we can try more! We couldn't decide who ordered the better item. They both were amazing! (Not healthy, but it was sooooo worth it!) It... More

Tucked away in a storybook town square with great freshly prepared dishes. Recommend the bourbon soaked cherry bread pudding! Staff are down home and genuinely happy to make you feel at home.

Forgot about this restaurant downtown La grange. Their menu is so diverse, there is something for everyone. Our table of four had a burger with chips, turkey dinner, train wreck and a turkey dinner on as a sandwich. Everyone was pleased with their meal. Real refreshing for this little town. Had the banana toffee pie. You should try it, yum... More
