Gary and Di Kingshott, the owners of The White Horse, used to run a lovely pub in Ickworth I went to a lot called The Beehive. No one has been able to make success of that business since they left and it's now for sale, The White Horse on the other hand is still doing just great! Just goes to... More

We visited here last month (February) and the visit was its usual good food and didn't bother to review as would be the same as previously. However we went last night and took some friends with us as our recommendation and would have to say the food was one of the, if not the, best visit we have had to... More

A very warm welcome. This pub was recommended by friends so we thought we'd give it a go. A very popular pub so if you are going for lunch it is best to book in advance. The food is all locally sourced & delicious which you are paying for. I had pate, followed by Suffolk ham & salad then followed... More

Still up to it's own high standard the landlord provides a friendly welcome to guests and their pooches and it is always a pleasure to peruse the menu and hard to decide what dishes to choose for all make the mouth water in anticipation.. Prices are fair and the quality is very good. On a lovely, early Spring day what... More

A delightful return to the White Horse at lunch time. Meal for 3 - we all had light lunchesand puddings,. Very tasty and fresh. One alcoholic drink - all for £60. Very welcoming as usual and friendly mature waitress service. Will be returning soon. Also dog friendly.

We decided to go here last night for our second anniversary as it's just down the road from us, and haven't been here that long so discovering new haunts. We booked a table, which is advisable, however, it was quite for a Friday evening. There was plenty of choice, we decided on main course and dessert. I had the Rib... More

This was everything a country pub should be, serving excellent food in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We could not fault it, as it was so friendly, there was a wide range of delicious food and the bar had plenty to offer too. It was beautifully kept and decorated in country style to create a warm and comfortable atmosphere. A... More
