A friend and I had lunch and an evening meal here recently and both were brilliant. Well-balanced seasoning, perfectly cooked, unfussily garnished - everything you want from a country pub. The lamb shank and fresh tuna steaks we had for dinner were stunning - juicy and tasty; the chef knows his protein! The veg - smashed potatoes with grain mustard... More

An impromptu booking, to see a long lost friend. Shame no others in this wonderful pub, but food and catch up more than made up for that. I had not been for a while, and this pub has changed hands a number of times,....please this time give it another go! Both of us had beef stroganoff, the best I have... More

I visited this pub again recently after a long absence. It has recently changed hands, so I was really pleased to find that the atmosphere is as welcoming as ever, service is excellent and the food is delicious. I would especially recommend the chocolate brownies - I want that recipe!

Visited last Thursday, had a wonderful time in this gorgeous village pub. Staff super friendly and knowledgeable, our barman and waiter Toby was able to pair a delicious bottle of wine with our meal which we all enjoyed x thanks to Ali and Toby, we will be back very soon. Garden is perfect or pre dinner drinks too x

After 2 successive management changes in a very short period of time since March, I was thrilled to hear that the Brewers Arms was receiving good reviews again, so I had to return and see for myself! And thankfully I can report it is as excellent as it was before those management changes with friendly, helpful and efficient staff and... More

We heard there were new owners and menu so 4 of decided to give it a go for dinner. First thing to notice was that Jeff and Nina, previous owners from some years ago, were just finishing their meal. That must be a recommendation at least. Menu was not too long and had 2 veggie choices for each course. Well... More

While out for a walk we came across the newly-refurbished Brewers and decided to give their Sunday lunch a try. We were so glad we did! The food was delicious and plentiful, it was very good value (as was a very nice bottle of Rioja) and everyone there was charming and friendly, even bringing water and a treat for our... More

Thought we would give the pub a look for a pint or maybe more. Walked into the public bar, stood at the bar for what seemed like a couple of minutes waiting for the young man to finish his conversation (we could see he wasn't serving, just chatting), we enquired what beers were on offer - the reply was to... Since the take-over by new management, things are settling down (thank goodness). The recent uncertainties over the future of this gem of a village restaurant pub have quite understandably kept the locals and the regulars away whilst it went through the doldrums. It is now so nice to be able to reassure everybody that it really is a place to... More

After hearing good things from friends, as it's under new management, we thought we would try out the Brewers Arms. Absolutely superb, food was lovely, the staff were friendly but professional. The play area was great for my daughter, she was very happy with that. Excellence value for money as well. Will definitely be visiting again soon.
