I've only once been here before, about 3 years ago and to be honest wasn't that impressed. At that time the pub seemed dingy and a bit musty. However, yesterday, a buddy and I, after a walk on the Hills, decided lunch would be here. I can only say I regret not returning sooner. My immediate impression was of a... More

After walking over the Malvern Hills we were given directions to the Chase Inn, a free house that many had recommended. Upon arrival we were greeted by some very friendly staff members who helped us decide which of the beers to drink (with the help of a few tasters!). We were then shown down to the beer gardens where we... More

Went to the Chase under good recommendation. Beer, the view were great but the food was poor to say the least. It tasted like it was just reheated. It was a pity.

Myself and my wife went for a day to Malvern and a walk on the hills. It was a glorious evening so we stopped at this little pub we found in the heart of the hills. When we arrived the pub was very busy. We had a look at the menu while we had a drink taking in the spectacular... More

A miserable, snotty girl took our food and drinks order at the bar and made us feel very unwelcome and demanding, when we were simply placing an order, yet it was a simple food and drinks order for four (And no young children). When our food arrived it was placed on our table in a very sloppy manner by yet... More

My friends and I were staying a short drive away in West Malvern and, after reading the reviews of the pub, we decided to give it a try for our evening meal. We gave then a ring and they were able to accommodate us (a party of 9) in their small dining room adjacent to the bar. On entering, we... More

Stopped here on the way to Wales as it had good reviews. The decor is a bit dated but the place is sparkling clean and the food was delicious. They were very dog friendly as well which is a bonus.

Good selection of real ales. Lovely bar staff. Snug bar area. Best thing in this rustic place is the fantastic beer garden. It faces west over several lines of mature forest clad hills in Herefordshire. One of the best pub views. Perfect place for a pub sundowner. A pub of dreams !

Popped in for a few drinks on a sunny afternoon with our dog. It was very busy and there were plenty of other dog owners here. There is a lovely view from where we were sitting. Pleasant staff and we also had some chips and a sandwich to eat which was all very nice. The only downside was that the... More
