This is a Hopkinsville landmark! The food hasn't changed in probably 50 years or at least since I was a small child and it is and always has been great. Every time I am in Hopkinsville, I try to get back there. Just posting a pic of the place on Facebook gets all of your childhood friends drooling.

These burgers are a little hole-in-the-wall treat!! Cheesy and fried up nice!! Like the title says, it's greasy but in the most delicious way!! Great prices, crowded, busy and just something you gotta try at least once! Just a tip- they only accept cash!

Of course I recommend it. It's an iconic part of the city's history. Taking your kids to Ferrell's to sit at the counter is a rite of passage in this town.

The place is small but big enough for a couple to grab a bite. We each had a burger and a drink and shared a bag of chips and it was only about $7! The burgers are simple but delicious. The atmosphere is that of an old burger shop. The lady just kept making burgers and would hand them out... More

Any trip to Hopkinsville, KY requires a stop at Ferrell's. The burgers are fantastic, plus you get to watch them being made (if you sit at the counter.) My wife and I love going there. I love having a double cheeseburger. She opts for the double hamburger.

This was my first visit to this highly touted spot in Hoptown and it definitely lived up to the hype! While you could call it a hole in the wall, it was clean and pleasant inside. The counter just seats a few so you may have to wait for a seat. The burgers were fresh and dressed with minimal fuss.... More

They have good Chili and Hamburgers. Ferrell's is a tradition in this town. It's not really a place I want to sit down and eat but it's been around a very long time and some people have a tradition to eat Christmas Eve there every year.

Was not optimistic that I would like them, BUT, to my surprise, I really liked the cheeseburger. I happened to see them using real ground beef, cutting up the whole fresh onions, cheese, etc. I'm not a burger eater, unless it's steak burgers, & I really liked ! The pecan pie was average, I'll go back for the burger!!!

Ferrell's is an institution in Hopkinsville. Double cheeseburger and a bowl of grease (chili) is the standard order. The burgers are flat - but real meat- and steamed with the buns on the grill.sort of like a Krystal or white castle- but bigger. I am from Hopkinsville and would rate excellent- but it is somewhat of a love it or... More
