Horseshoe is where a lot of business is conducted in Hopkinsville. It is not fancy or well appointed, but besides Harper House, there are not a lot of places that are what visiting business people expect. (And this is more for those associates you already know well.) once they have been there, most want to go back. Seating is the... More

Small, hole-in-the-wall type place, but good food - basically all steaks and the trimmings. My filet mignon was a little tough for that cut of meat and for the price but it was cooked perfectly and they do a great homestyle hashbrowns as a side dish. Service was friendly and attentive.

It's a steak house… and that is what you get. Nothing fancy, just good steaks. It comes complete with a down home country feel. Tablecloths are plastic and have a cow fur pattern. Walls are full of artifacts. It's a bit dark and packed with customers enjoying dinner. Steak, potato, salad… thats what they do.

The prices were high. It was dark, drab, and small. Too hard to move in. So dark we couldn't see when we entered from daylight. We saw a cockroach in the tiny hallway leading to the hot non air conditioned restrooms. My tiny steak salad had greasy grayish thin, fatty, gristled meat, and a bit of iceberg lettuce with imitation... More

While visiting Hopkinsville my husband and I went to the Horseshoe to celebrate our anniversary. I had great memories of this place from growing up and thought it would be a nice night. However, I was very disappointed in the experience. We started with an appetizer of potato skins. The skins looked like they had processed American cheese melted on... More

My family has been enjoying the Horseshoe for many years. One of the best places to enjoy a wonderful steak!! The atmosphere is laid back but we miss Faye and Earl. They brought something special to the place!!!

A little on the pricey side, but the steaks are good and you can actually enjoy them now that smoking is banned in Hopkinsville restaurants.

We made a reservation at the request of our business associate as he said the place fills up quickly at dinner time. After we arrive we could see why. There were no more than 10 tables in the whole place with an additional 6-8 seats at the bar. We arrived first and ordered drinks and an appetizer. The waitress seems... More

Had a chance to visit this restaurant on a business trip with associates. It is a small place, with very limited parking, but easy to find. Nothing fancy here, but a good, clean place, with quick and attentive service. Good steaks, drinks, sides, appetizers. Prices are very fair. Worth a visit if you're in town.
