Rare restored large and grand scale Shaker Community where history and faith are on display with good interpreters while touring buildings. Clever and hard working people's home for many decades where many of their inventions are also shown and explained. Overnight guests stay in large restored buildings and eat in dinning room where very good food is served. Beautiful farm... More

The village is interesting and very well presented. We stayed at one of the original Shaker homes in the village and it was a memorable experience. I would recommend it for anyone. We had breakfast at the Shaker Hotel and it was very good, although a bit overpriced. We didn't get to ride the boat, but I'm sure that would... More

Off the path, through the woods and over the river, it was wonderful to find this pretty place. The entire complex was so lovely, with wonderful food in the restaurant. We wish we had made a reservation on Sunday as so many were there to eat that we had to wait until 2PM. You can also stay the night there... More

Our party of four had both breakfast and dinner, food was good, especially the fried chicken. Service was good, prices were reasonable. Would not hesitate to go back.

My husband and I stayed at the village overnight so enjoyed both dinner and lunch. You must have reservations so be sure to make well in advance. For dinner, you start with a bowl of pickled products and warm rolls. I had the country tart as it was the vegetarian option. I don't typically like quiche but this was very... More

One of our favorite places to go hiking. The Inn serves excellent meals with much of the food coming from their gardens. The staff on the grounds is very friendly and informative. Walking the roads is like stepping back in time. And, for a fee, you can get a guided tour and enter all their buildings. Their gift shop is... More

We had the fried chicken and the salmon. The side dishes are an experience unto themselves. World famous lemon pie was worth the trip. And of course had to enjoy makers Mark on the rocks on this balmy summer night. Stephanie's home town charm and outstanding service completed the experience!

Everything is fresh; some of it is grown right across the yard. I ate lunch here twice and dinner three times and loved every meal. They serve fresh vegetables and bread with your entree and the portions are large. The pork chop was the best I've ever had and the chicken was delicious. Service was very friendly, attentive and prompt.... More

The restaurant was great. We ask for a window and got it. Had fried chicken, collard greens, rice and bowl of veggies. Waitress was attentive and sweet. Highly recommend this place.
