I remembered this restaurant from when I was a kid. My family visited with friends in the late 80's and I remembered the flower pot bread, so it was a must stop on my way to Nashville. My family and I love this place! The food is wonderful!! I have never had a meal here that I did not enjoy. We have been here several time with our children! They enjoy the playground, the petting zoo and the general setting. I love their home made strawberry jelly and strawberry butter. My kids love the flowerpot bread. There... More

for starters: the flower pot bread & homemade strawberry butter! salad with homemade poppyseed dressing. many great entree choices but usually order filet mignon. also texas steak is delicious with its dipping sauce. i know that they are famous for their pies as well. the atmosphere is 1880s and has really cute decor plus wait staff dresses in period clothing.... Patti's 1880's Settlement Restaurant is located in the small town of Grand Rivers in Kentucky. You can't go wrong by stopping here to eat. The restaurant is known for its 2 inch pork chop which is no doubt extremely good. I however chose the Don's Chicken which was so so good! With your dinner you get two sides. Try the... More

We felt this place lived up to its hype. This is a restaurant we originally read about in a travel book. Then after doing some research found that this place is well documented and has several awards given by travel related resources. Go prepared to wait, but if you can be certain of your arrival time, do yourself a favor... More

If you are a pork chop lover, then you need to make a trip to Grand Rivers and stop at Patti's 1880s Settlement. They have a 2-inch pork chop that is to die for! You will not leave hungry. You might have to be rolled out of the restaurant. We take a motorcycle ride to Grand Rivers every year just... More

Patti's is know for the 2 inch pork chop, but I ordered the 1" and it was very tender and juicy. They also serve bread made in a flower pot and serve it with regular and strawberry butter. Will be coming back to this place when we visit again.

This has to be the BEST pork chop of all time. It is 2" thick and Patti's special sauce (available for purchase) is a killer. You definitely need reservations, but the wait is enjoyable as you meander through the gardens. It is beautiful in sights, smells, and definitely, tastes.

Our Family of 17 began eating at Patti's back in the early 90's when we would spend the week on a house boat on Kentucky Lake. We still continue to go for dinner from time to time even though it is a two hour drive each way. The food is that good AND it is a fun place for a... More

This was a great visit. Just remember to get a reservation because it's a very popular place and you might wait a long time. Having said that, the wait was worth it. Time passed quickly because of the cool gift shop and the decorated grounds. I enjoyed their service and the food was unique and good. They had a 2... More
