Description: month. The old house has been renovated and is just lovely for an upscale dinner at a reasonable price point. Entrees are served with a choice of soup, salad or sweet and range from $15 - $20. Appetizers range from $5. - $9. We had the crab cakes to start - the sauce was lovely but the crab cake was on the cold side. The Bourbon Barrel Salmon was outstanding but my lamb special was served less than warm, a overdone for my liking - when speaking with the server, she went back to the kitchen and I was told this was the last of the lamb needed more au jus or some mint sauce to complement. Upon request for mint sauce they brought out the chefs homemade special steak sauce. It was wonderful! It went well with the roasted lamb. The roasted vegetables were delicious albeit just warm.

First of all Rodney is great. I just love that he actually comes around and speaks with the guests; not intrusive, genuinely cares about your experience. The restaurant itself has four different settings: formal dining, casual fireplace quasi-bar area with high tops, outside patio and the bar. My wife and I always choose a different setting depending on our mood.... More

Did not eat here after difficulty with the hostess. It was a Saturday night and I anticipated restaurants would be busy so thought a reservation might be necessary. Noticed on restaurant's website a reservation button so checked it out. There were tables available at 7, 7:15, 7:30, 8:00, etc. reviewed our dining options with the rest of our party and... More

I had the special spinach and portobello with shrimp soup at Rodney's and it was by far the best thing I've ever eaten. For dinner I had the signature pasta with linguini, spinach, and mushrooms. My husband had the special fish (I don't remember the name but similar to sea bass) with dill sauce and both entrees were incredible. I'm... More

WOW! Did I say WOW! In town for business. Asked some locals about Rodney's and no one had heard of it. Relying on Trip Advisor as always I choose this restaurant for a group of 4 who did not want to eat at the typical fast food chains in Georgetown. Food was fantastic, good presentation, great staff and atmosphere. We... More

great food, great atmosphere, . I liked the old house setting and the ambiance it brings to the meal. The waiters and waitresses are top notch. I had a Ribeye steak that was just out of this world. The care in the presentation of the food makes it a more personal experience than one would get at a chain restaurant.

What a great accommodating restaurant. Rodney, the owner chef, went out of his way to fix me a delicious meal. When you are a gluten free, dairy free individual, it's hard to get a good meal without compromising flavor. Rodney did it. This place would be wonderful for any day or any special occasion. The ambiance, friendly help, and service... More

We are from Illinois and have some of the best corn fed beef in the country. When Rodney's put on their menu, "best fillet you'll ever eat", I was skeptical. Absolutely unbelievable. If you're in the area you really need to visit Rodney's on Broadway. 222 North Broadway in Georgetown, Kentucky. Wow!

Yes, all the beef is prime, direct from Chicago. But on my latest visit, I chose a surf selection. No wipe out here. The panko-encrusted grouper, along with cheese grits and haricot vert. Prepared in white wine, lemon juice, and one of my favorites, capers. To die for. So, now. Let's get this out of the way. One horse town.... More

The environment (1840's home), the staff (all are attentive though never obnoxious; Troy is a talented waiter), and of course the food (lovingly designed and crafted by a gifted chef/owner Chef Rodney) make this one of my all-time top pick. As a vegetarian who travels extensively I have become accustomed to beautiful though tasteless meals from award-winning chefs. This was... More

We just ate at Rodney's tonight on our way to the 127 Sale. I'm so glad we checked the reviews and found this gem. The restaurant is located in a beautiful old home that is lovingly maintained. The location alone would be worth a dinner, but the food is excellent. I had the salmon with kale and mushrooms as my... More
