month. The old house has been renovated and is just lovely for an upscale dinner at a reasonable price point. Entrees are served with a choice of soup, salad or sweet and range from $15 - $20. Appetizers range from $5. - $9. We had the crab cakes to start - the sauce was lovely but the crab cake was on the cold side. The Bourbon Barrel Salmon was outstanding but my lamb special was served less than warm, a overdone for my liking - when speaking with the server, she went back to the kitchen and I was told this was the last of the lamb needed more au jus or some mint sauce to complement. Upon request for mint sauce they brought out the chefs homemade special steak sauce. It was wonderful! It went well with the roasted lamb. The roasted vegetables were delicious albeit just warm.

What a find!

When I first called I was told that they were completely booked. I tried again when we got to town and we were in luck. I can see why they are popular. Moved back to the Bluegrass a year ago and eat at Rodney's every week we are in town. The duck, steaks and off menu items (e.g. smoked salmon fettuccini rival anywhere in the world. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I recommend to all our out of town friends and family. Dr. M and Kelly

The room is cozy and comfortable, waitress exceptional, great bread with olive oil and balsamic reduction the best. The warm goat cheese salad was very good and then everything went down hill. My first order was Duck which came right after my salad and I couldn't figure out how it got out of the kitchen so fast. No surprise it... More

Rodney's is an old house that have been carefully converted into a restaurant. We arrived from out of town without a reservation but the hostess sat us in the bar's "gathering room" and we had full menu service. Each dish was artfully prepared and presented. It was a wonderful end to a full and busy day.

What a find!! Rivals any restaurant in Lexington and maybe Louisville. In an old house that from the 1880's, the layout of the floors is a little choppy. Once seated that's all forgotten. Very comfortable, and the food is exquisite. Careful chef Rodney may come out to your table to visit

I have been coming here for the last 2 years when I visit Georgetown from Boston. Rodney's is comparable to some of Boston's finest. Great selection of steaks and fresh seafood. Good wine list and excellent selection of Bourbon, including Pappy Van Winkle. A must if you are visiting in Georgetown or the Lexington area.

First-class meal and great friendly service in an elegant rustic setting. Thank you all so much for an unforgettable dinner that stacks up against the best we've had, ever! That includes big-city five star restaurants.

My wife and I and another couple had a wonderful evening at Rodney's for a late Valentine's celebration. The service was exceptional and the food and wine were exquisite. I had the filet which lived up to its reputation as the best anywhere and the asparagus and potatoes were wonderful. We had the chocolate torte for dessert which was very... More

Visited Rodney's for our anniversary and was warmly surprised to find a card and our table decorated. The food was incredible. My wife had the petite ribeye and I had the lamb chops. Cooked to perfection, Chef Rodney makes a superb experience. We finished with the cheese cake and carrot cake. This is a must. It's a bit pricey, but... More

This was the 3rd and last visit that I will make. The med rare filet I ordered was overcooked and when I sent it back the chef decided to butterfly it so they could hurry it back to me. Maybe I'm wrong but when I order a steak I want a thick cut. This is the second timw this has... More
