Great food, but.........

Unique and tasty menu in a beautiful setting. The biggest negative is that the last 3 times I have visited (all at various times), the service was very slow. If you have time to take a leisurely lunch, then this is the place. If your there on your lunch hour, I'd advise calling in advance.

We stopped by hoping for a quick but good lunch and we got both. We sat outside in the shade. Service was excellent and quick. The bread is delicious. We both had half sandwiches with a side of potato salad. We both struggled to finish so we opted against dessert which looked good.

This is by far a gem buried in Frankfort. This is my favorite place to eat. Great flavors, fabulous coffee, fresh food, and delightful atmosphere!

My daughters live in Louisville and I live in Richmond so we often meet in Frankfort. A friend suggested I go by Wilson's Nursery since I love flowers and Sage Cafe since I love fresh food. After visiting I made reservations for Mother's Day for all of us (7). We very much enjoyed our food and of course getting flowers... More

On our way from Southern Indiana to the Bourbon Trail with friends, and this is one of their favorite restaurants. It's easy to see why. The unique location (on the grounds of a nursery) is quite nice. We each had soup and sandwiches, everyone was very happy. The sandwiches are huge, and made on fresh bread. Then the desserts, wow!... The homemade breads and desserts are incredible. The produce is fresh and in season, and the soups are homemade. They are very accomodating to those with food allergies and the monte cristo is to die for.

Wilson ' s made great use of this space. The patio is a lovely place for dining. The menu utilizes seasonal, local foods. I've never been disappointed with the food or service..wonderful fresh breads & tasty treats to take home. Don't pass it by!

I was meeting a friend for lunch and we decided since it was a beautiful sunny day we would eat at Sage and then shop the garden center. The recent renovations have been great and make it a lovely place to eat inside or out on the patio. The service, as always, was terrific. The waitress was attentive without being... More

I am a lunchtime regular at Sage Garden Cafe. Food, service, and ambience are all excellent. Price is moderate. My lunch partner and I travel nearly 30 minutes from home, but the experience is well worth the trip. My favorite is the Alaskan sandwich - a beautiful portion of grilled salmon, dressed with caper sauce, served on brioche. My friend... More

Pulled up TripAdvisor to find something to eat as we were passing through. Although it was a few miles off the interstate, we took a chance. So glad we did! Absolutely wonderful soups and sandwiches. Wish we had a place like this back home!
