Staff is great

Chicken salad was ok but this place stands out because of the great staff. Quiche was very good. Amazing fresh tomatoes. I would go back many times.

To my regret, I did not get to eat at Sage until my last week of work in Frankfort. The food was great was usual and the service was fast. It was an enjoyable lunch made even better by the atmosphere of the restaurant. The cafe makes you want to hang out there all afternoon. Sadly, my colleagues and I... More

My husband and I decided to try this cafe for lunch. He ordered a Reuben and I had the Hot Brown Panini. I also ordered a cup of mushroom soup. The soup was flavorful and was bigger then most. The sandwiches were delicious. I decided to have the Strawberry Cake for dessert and my husband had the Italian Cream cake.... More

I was here with a group of 55 other people as part of a garden tour. That # had stressed other restaurants, but not the staff at the Sage Garden Cafe. We pre-ordered our sandwich selections and when we arrived we each found a lovely sandwich with a fresh salad and a choice of brownies or bar cookies. I had Helen's... More

For those who enjoy a Panera Bread type menu, but in a refreshingly local setting, this is the place. Good selection of freshly made sandwiches on wonderful homemade bread options. The Kentucky Brown baguette was sumptuous, and sufficiently large to require a take-home box for the second half! Setting in a greenhouse/garden area makes it a pleasant and relaxing place... More

They serve soups, salads, and sandwiches for lunch...a creative, inspired menu. We enjoyed fresh food on excellent homemade bread. Staff is excellent.

If your ever in Frankfort looking for a bite to eat, this is the place! Wonderful service (we had a lovely and entertaining chat with our waiter) and even though busy, a friendly atmosphere. And don't let me forget the food! Ah what food! The selection was wide and everything we ate was delicious, whatever you do though save room... More

The atmosphere is great, food delicious and staff friendly. Sometimes a wait for seating or food, but always busy.

I have passed this cafe several times on trips to Frankfort, but had never stopped until today. It was quite busy, but my wait was very short. The menu offered a variety of unique salads and sandwiches. I chose the Chicken Salad sandwich with Tomato Basil soup. The sandwich was very large; easily could have been shared. The chicken salad... We enjoyed this restaurant a lot. We sat outside on a nice day and all four of us had a good lunch. I had a cheeseburger, my wife and a friend had a chicken salad plate with homemade bread. Nothing fancy but good service and good food.
