I travel to Frankfort frequently on business and I like to have something to look forward to after a tough day on the road. Welllll, a few colleagues and I went to this great establishment in the historic downtown area for dinner. OMG. The bruschetta was garlicky with fresh mozzarella, balsamic marinated tomatoes and fresh basil. My ribeye was served... More

We went to the Bistro for dinner. The appetizer menu looked so interesting that we ordered from that along with a salad. What a treat! Best humus EVER---nachos to die for---and awesome calamari. There's were 6 of us. We ordered the three appetizers and a small salad each. When the salads arrived, they were so generous that we asked our... More

First, get good directions or use your navigation device to get to Bistro 241. Driving in Frankfort can be a bit confusing. Bistro 241 is located in a restored building in historic downtown Frankfort. Well done interior that reflects the character of this small town, state capitol city. Even though the staff was kept busy with a large prom night... More

Enjoyed a birthday lunch at Bistro 241 - first visit. We had a wonderful lunch! The tenderloin po'boy was cooked to order - tender and tasty. Cucumber salad was excellent and French fries were crisp & hot.The Strawberry/Basil Mousse was 5 star- this is definitely the best place to have lunch in Frankfort. Will try dinner here soon.

My husband and I had a very nice early dinner at the Bistro. The food was great as well as the service. It made our visit to Frankfort enjoyable, especially after the chef came out to speak to us about Kentucky and what Kentucky has to offer; good food and spirits.

I met a friend here and it was okay. I ordered a salad and soup but they were out of the lettuce for the salad and the soup was not very good. I will go back to try them one more time before I write them off, gotta give these places two or more chances!

We live locally to Frankfort and have always enjoyed downtown restaurants and local character. Bistro 241 has a lot of potential, and since Chef Michael has joined the team, the food has been outstanding! They offer a list of 25 wines and the quality is terrific. Chef Michael's Chicken and Waffles are scrumptious and the daily specials have been spectacular.... More

Recently shared an incredible valentine dinner with a good friend, food was excellent, service perfect and a real plus to have the chef, Michael and the owner, Brenda Allen come to greet us and ask if all was to our liking! 10 out 10 for both of us!!
