Awesome service and food. It is a great value for the money. Sometimes you can find them on restaurant.com for saving coupons. Remember to tip your server on amount before discount.

We were overwhelmed by the service and the good food. The fried chicken deserves the three-year-running award of best fried chicken in Northern KY. The fish and hamburger were tasty and the portions were sizable. My son really liked the pickled beets and I thought the hot slaw had just the right amount of saucy kick. We tried some goetta... What an extreme pleasure to dine out with friends at this great little place. Saw the reviews here on Trip Advisor and simply HAD to eat there. Amazing value (!!)...wonderful service...cozy atmosphere...and the food...well! Some of the best fried chicken I've EVER had...it's about a 20 min. wait from order to table (not bad) - they cook the chicken to... More

This was the first time in a long while since I ate here. A good family style place to dine- Many menu items to choose from- Not a fast food place. Had the fried chicken. Took about 20 minutes from time of order as stated on the menu- so if in a hurry order something else. Chicken was steaming HOT,... More

The parking might be a little on the short side but the food and service are definitely on the up side. Fried chicken is as good as any. Cat fish also outstanding. Service is terrific.

We went for breakfast with friends who are regulars. There is a wide selection of breakfast dishes many including traditional dishes and ingredients - country ham, goetta, catfish and lots more. Terrific omelets and many good choices for dessert. In business for 80+ years and going strong. Check out the web site for the menu and more details.

I'm so glad I studied Tripadvisor for the best places in the Northern Ky. area to eat. Not just Florence Ky, but the surrounding communities as well (I usually just look at the Florence area). I saw that Colonial Cottage had many good reviews and featured great home-style food. I am a believer now. Bobby (our server), knows how to... More

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Northern Kentucky. It's a family-owned restaurant that has been in business since 1933. Their specialties include homemade pies, catfish, goetta, hot slaw, salmon croquettes, cottage ham, beef barley soup and a Kentucky Hot Brown. Every one is delicious. Prices are reasonable. And serving staff is friendly.
