I passed by this place and thought I remembered reading about it here on TripAdvisor. I ordered the fried pickles and the bacon, lettuce, and fried green tomato sandwich. They were both delicious! The fried pickles had a little kick to them. Very tasty.

We had been told by many of the locals that we needed to try this restaurant so we stopped in for dinner. Not even realizing how late it was we were seated by a very friendly and welcoming young lady. I then asked what time they closed and she told me 9pm (which was only two minutes later). We apologized... More

Our family stopped in on the way to Cinncinnati and everyone liked the food. Several choices of BBQ sauce, country ham, sweet potatoe casserole with pecans, delicious cornbread. Very good service, family owned. We would come back again. Blackberry cobbler was wonderful served warm with vanilla ice cream.

The food is delicious!!! Have to try the "Old Brown"....very filling and delicious. The staff is nice and accommodating. The restaurant is decorated country and very pleasant. We liked it so much we came back on our way home on our trip. It was 8:45 p.m. and they close at 9, but they insisted we come in and sit down... More

I enjoyed eating lunch in this very old house that has been restored to a pristine state. I wish I could say the same for the food. It is not bad, just ordinary and certainly not worth the prices they are getting. The walls are festooned with all manner of bric-a-brac and is tastefully done. Service is fast and friendly.... More

We stopped here on our way to Louisville based on reviews we saw on TripAdvisor. We are very happy we did, not only was the food very tasty, but the service was very good as well. The restaurant was very family friendly and they served good southern food. With a comprehensive menu and tasty options for adults and kids, we... More

We did a day trip from Nashville to Elizabethtown and saw this restaurant on Trip Adviser. It is a beautiful old house with very good food! The fried chicken and meat loaf was wonderful. If you are in the area it is must try!

Great little restaurant out of the blue. A country feel to it, and LOTS of fried foods. You can get casserole as sides, or order a whole casserole to go. They also have take out pies and dishes, out just have to order a day in advance. Love this place! Although the waitress was rushed and moved along quickly, we... More

Good service, good food, over all great evening supporting a locally owned restaurant. Worth a visit to Elizabethtown - easy off and on Interstate access.
