We stopped here on our way to Louisville based on reviews we saw on TripAdvisor. We are very happy we did, not only was the food very tasty, but the service was very good as well. The restaurant was very family friendly and they served good southern food. With a comprehensive menu and tasty options for adults and kids, we... More

We did a day trip from Nashville to Elizabethtown and saw this restaurant on Trip Adviser. It is a beautiful old house with very good food! The fried chicken and meat loaf was wonderful. If you are in the area it is must try!

Great little restaurant out of the blue. A country feel to it, and LOTS of fried foods. You can get casserole as sides, or order a whole casserole to go. They also have take out pies and dishes, out just have to order a day in advance. Love this place! Although the waitress was rushed and moved along quickly, we... More

Good service, good food, over all great evening supporting a locally owned restaurant. Worth a visit to Elizabethtown - easy off and on Interstate access.

I try something new everytime I visit but I always get the broccoli casserole and sweet tea :-) Tried the fried pickle (they have a slight kick to 'em), Salmon Patties, Roast Beef, Hot Brown .... EVERYTHING has been delicious. Decor, atmosphere service are all phenomenal!

Passing through on our way to Nashville and stopped for lunch. Excellent homestyle meatloaf and mash potatoes with white gravy. Open face roast beef sandwich was good too. Hamburgers and fries were okay. Charming little house. Worth the drive off the freeway!

Very quaint and interesting converted house. There is a bathtub in the ladies restroom! Our waitress was excellent, attentive but not intrusive. I had the Hot Brown and it was good. We also had the fried pickles and they were very tasty. Other family members had the Reuben and bacon cheeseburger. Reuben was excellent but a little light on the... More

This is an old house that sits on a corner with parking to the rear or the side of the builidng. They have transformed this house into a restaurant - very quiet, dark, peaceful and awesome.. The servers are very sweet and quick, the meals are decent sized for the price - there is a little room off the back... More

Enjoyed lunch with friends today at Back Home. The BLFGT is the best sandwich in town. The fried green tomatoes are soooo good! Hot and fresh - and out on the table in about 10-15 minutes. Home style cooking on a winters day- makes me happy!
