Lovely place to eat

Lovely, quiet, upscale place to eat. Food is good, service is great. We eat here on special occasions, but it is great for that Saturday evening after a long week at work.

Great staff. Very friendly but the food is not the best. The menu could use some updating. Some of the food looks processed. The fish nugget special had to be frozen. They were all the same size and shape. Perfect squares. The buffalo chicken sandwich appeared to be frozen as well. The salad bar, homemade rolls and strawberry butter was... More

We added a salad bar trip to our lunch order and ended up taking the lunch home in a box because we loved the salad bar. It was fresh, clean, and provided a nice variety of options. The room we ate in was a little dark but the meal was very good.

Two of us were on our way to a conference in Nashville and stopped her for lunch based on TA reviews. We were a bit surprised to find it more of a formal place. There was a ladies group of about 30 in a large room right near the entrance, and we were seated in the adjoining room. Our waitress... More

I have been here on several occasions over the years. I do seminars and have been in their private room in the back. The food has always been top notch. I would recommend for a quiet evening out with your spouse as well.

Dined there recently wanting a pork dish. Stone Hearth did NOT disappoint. They have a delightful dish called the Flat Iron that pairs quite well with a new sauce they are featuring called Maple Bacon Amber sauce. This is made with Kentucky Amber from Boundary Oak Distillery producing the first spirits in Hardin Co Ky since Prohibition.

Being in Elizabethtown for our Grandson's Baseball Tournament for several days, we needed a change of pace from BBQ & Casual dining. Looked up this Restaurant on Local Scout. Took the Family for a Quality Meal. Was not disappointed. A friendly staff, good service, great soup & salad bar & great food. It was close to our Hotel so a... More

We arrived late on a weeknight while on vacation in the Elizabethtown/Bardstown area. I was rather underdressed for this fairly nice restaurant, but the hostess greeted us cordially and mentioned some of the features, including the fine salad/soup bar. She told us about their association with Boundary Oak distillery and mentioned that there were some specialty cocktails available. Our server... More

We went on a Sunday, Father's Day, and they had a buffet in addition to the salad bar. The salad was just what I wanted & fresh & tasty. My husband got stuff on the buffet & really enjoyed it. The server was friendly & gave us some great info about a wine to try & where it was sold.... More
