I think this is an awesome place to go if you're looking for doughnuts, cookies, fresh breads; really delicious and fresh. This is not a place to go for lunch or a meal however. There is no place to sit at all so you have to get it to go and while you can get a couple lunch items, their... More

Right across the street from the park - perfect for picking up sweet treats and enjoying them under the big shade trees. We fell in love with Danville in an afternoon - Burke's three dozen brownies for $7 (!!!) certainly helped!

Burke's Makes a wide variety of baked goods, as well as, sandwiches. Their donuts are to die for. The pies and cakes would make grandma jealous. Their sandwich spreads are always tasty. Burke's has been making the same items for many moons, yet every new generation does it as well as the one before it.

Bring cash or check. No debit cards. But the donuts, chicken salad, donut holes, breads, everything is great. And everything is fresh. Wonderful birthday cakes too. Support local business

Four of us had lunch here while visiting the town and had very nice sandwiches. Choose your bread, buns and whatever meats, cheeses , dressing you want on the sandwich. Lunch was delicious, fresh and filling. A very busy place only open for lunch Monday to Friday.

Visiting the Danville area for a couple of days, we were told we had to try Burke's. So we found it and went in. We were faced with a showcase full of all sorts of sweet baked goods. Too many decisions!! In fact we had to look for a while, go away and get lunch, and then come back to... More

Average bakery sandwich very affordable but not best quality. May visit again...best on menu were the Chocolate petit fours.

I stopped by Burke's on my way out of town. It is a small place but was bustling. It didn't take long to get waited on. They have a nice selection of baked goods and they ALL looked delicious. We settled on yeast doughnuts and cake doughnuts. Both were good, but the cake doughnuts were outstanding, especially the coconut covered... More

When we travel we look for "Mom & Pop" places to eat. Burke's didn't disappoint! We are still enjoying the various cookies (really like the chocolate macaroons!), donuts & other pastries we brought home. No scones, though, & they are what we always look for in bakeries. Staff was very busy so we excused the lack of friendliness. We recommend.
