Wife and I enjoyed the lunch buffet on a Friday-- complete with frog legs and catfish, fried green tomatoes, corn cakes, and a double fudge brownie cake among other things. If you are watching your cholesterol, weight, calories, etc. then avoid this restaurant. If you want old-style Southern cooking that will leave you full for days-- give it a shot.

Excellent service, and SO MUCH food for so little! I had an awesome meatloaf, which came with TWO sides and a delicious cornbread pancake. The decor was fun- roosters, license plates & humorous signs everywhere. A definite gem in Danville.

My friend and I stopped in today for the first time. We just loved it! Our food was fantasic and we had the sweetest little waitress (Trivia). She did a good job. The place is clean and fun and prices are good. We will be back!! Thank you ladies!

Stopped in for lunch while travelling through. The waitress was very nice. Had a wonderful deep fried chili dog! There were several Ford Model A cars in the lot. We spoke to one gentleman about his car. I'd stop again for another chili dog if I am ever in the area again!

I had a breakfast special and my wife had a very large chicken sandwich platter. Food was good and service was fine. Would definitely go again.

Red Rooster was always THE place for us to go for breakfast in Danville. However, last time, under new management, I assume, it was less than good. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but from now on, I'll do it elsewhere. Too bad, too, because it's convenient, low-key, relaxed. It's just that the food isn't what it... More

It was an ok meal but not something I'd go back for. Onion rings were ok - but wanted big fluffy rings not small. My husband got the meatloaf - and he loves meatloaf, but not this meatloaf. There are a lot of great reviews for this restaurant - I'm just not crazy about greasy food.

We were working in the area for a few days and wanted something better than your chain restaurants or hotel buffet.. This hit the spot with great breakfast food I had the eggs and pancakes.. The menu is simple and the food is good.. The Atmosphere is plan but food isn't

Great local restaurant! We had chocolate milkshakes which were fantastic. Waitress told me they make them with homemade ice cream.
