Biancke's is most definitely a place where you go when you are in no rush. This place, is southern, and quaint. Do not go in expecting gourmet; rather, go in with expectation of grandma's home cooked breakfast, lunch, or dinner. If that is the sort of thing you are looking for, then this is the place for you.

Every time I am in town I make a visit to eat. The local high school pictures-especially 1950-are a great reminder of how long this restaurant has been serving good food. The new owner, an ambitious teenager when she started, has continued the legacy. My breakfast of eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy was topped off with unending great coffee. I... More

This restaurant, which has been in existence since 1894, simply provides a grand experience at a very reasonable price. Whether there for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or an afternoon snack, you won't be disappointed. If you have any inclination toward dessert, their cream pies with mile high meringue cannot be beat.

It wasn't worth driving from another county to eat there. My corn on the cob was freezer burnt, the service was HORRIBLE. We waited forever to get our food, our waitress rarely came to the table, had no personality, and after asking several times for an item she still never brought it to us. I did have the smothered chicken... More

Very good country cooking. Specials are very good. The pies are the best part of the meal. Also a good place for breakfast.

The food at Biancke's is great. Just make sure you have enough time to sit down and enjoy it. Sometimes there can be a wait, this in part has to do with the amount of people that come to enjoy the food here. In my opinion, I can take the wait for the great homestyle food.

Service was great. Waitress was friendly, had suggestions for places to visit while in their little town. Food was delicious. Their special B,L, FGT (Fried Green Tomato) was worth a drive back for. Wish we had room for dessert. The museum she recommended was quite worth the time & brought back many memories.

I had Chicken Fried Steak, Mashed Potatoes and Onion Rings. Wife had a "Green Burger", salad and home made chips. She had Shinerbock, I water. Had a shake on the way out for dessert. All for $21. Mine was very good. Wifes burger was too well for her taste but its restaurant rules. Service was very attentive and the atmosphere... More
