Guru India offers above-average Indian food. The buffet at lunch time is an excellent value, and the made-to-order dinners are very good. Carry it out and pair it with a bottle of French Beaujolais!

Guru India is one of the best Indian restaurants I have visited, I ordered the chicken curry and garlic nan, the taste and the quality of the food was very good and even the service was admirable.I would suggest guru for all those who want to taste the spicy indian food.

I have frequented the Guru India many times. When it first opened it was comparable to the Jesse Singh flagship restaurant, "Ambar India" in Cincinnati. However, since its opening the food quality and service have gotten worse with each visit. Dishes at the Guru do not taste anything like those at Amber (and not in a good way). Service is... More

I ordered lamb Rogan Josh and it was absolutely delightful! I ordered it at a five out of six for spiciness. It is a great level of spicy for spice lovers. The naan was fluffy and not crunchy and not greasy. The service was good. Our waiter was attentive and funny. The bathroom has a lot of funny signs that give... More

Guru India was my first experience with Indian food, about a year and a half ago. I was extremely reluctant to try it. However, I am so glad I did as I didn't know what I was missing! Comforting, fresh, flavorful (without being spicy, we order spice level 0, haha). Prices are reasonable for what you are getting. My husband... More

I've been in more Indian restaurants than I can remember – including some of the best in London – and Guru India scores very high on my list. My wife and I went for an early dinner (in fact, we were the first customers for the dinner service) and we were very impressed. We had Saag Paneer, Chicken Tikka Masala,... More

My wife introduced me to Indian food (and Guru India) shortly after we moved to the area five years ago. I was taken there initially under protest and fueled by misconceived visions of overly curried laced foods. I'm not the biggest curry fan. All i can say is the food is delicious. I especially recommend the Keema Samosa (beef pastries)... More

My husband and I went here for a date night. We had some excellent Indian food on our last vacation, so we wanted to try out the local Indian food scene. (Which is sadly lacking in NKY.) It is located in a strip mall and doesn't really stand out from the street. It's also a bit lacking in ambiance. When... More

This place is not bad, but nothing stands out about it at all. We love Indian but this is not worth really going out of your way for. Nothing bad, just nothing really good either.

Guru offers a pleasant lunch buffet with options that change a bit from day to day. If the sweet carrot dessert is on offer, be sure to try it - it's delicious!
