Always great food, quick service, seldom a wait

We used to drive an hour to Ambar India in Clifton, so we were delighted that Guru opened in such a convenient location. It's on the way to Carnegie Theater and most Cinci activities for us. Don't worry about spice levels, they will make it however you like. If you're new to Indian food, try... read more

I took a friend that hadn't been to Guru before and she thoroughly enjoyed the food. She said that the sauce was not runny like some other Indian restaurants with plenty of meat in the lamb dish. Great service too - very attentive.

My husband and I love this place... and I used to tell people I didn't like Indian food! At our first visit my husband had the chicken curry but ended up eating half my chicken tikka masala when he saw how much I was enjoying it. The next two times I had him order his own - it's too good... More

I am not an expert on Indian Food, but from my limited experience, this is some of the best in the Cincinnati area. The flavors are wonderful and the food is well-prepared. I have not eaten in the restaurant, but I have gotten carry-out many times. Dinner can be a little pricey, but my order is always accurate and the... More

We love eating here. The food is great and the choice of spice levels is perfect. Never had a bad experience!

Both the Indian and American members of our group agree this is the best Indian food in the region. Traditional menu, average prices, excellent service and GREAT food!

My husband and I visited Guru last weekend after it was suggested by my coworker. This was our first real venture into Indian food. As it was a weekend they have a buffet, which I recommend if you just want to try different things and its only $11 which includes your drink. The only down side is that on the... More

my wife and I went there for Valentines day and it was quiet, yet busy restaurant. The food has alot of taste. The servers could use abit of training, but otherwise very helpful. The bread there is very good. And all in all, I would go there again.

My affinity for Indian Food is old and well calibrated. I've dined in or ordered take away countless times from Guru since its opening. They offer generous take away portions and prep is pronto... be ready to head to your car when you hang up the phone! My opinion of the service and food quality has been high and low... More

Guru India offers above-average Indian food. The buffet at lunch time is an excellent value, and the made-to-order dinners are very good. Carry it out and pair it with a bottle of French Beaujolais!
