You can talk to the chef, and he will introduce you some real Chinese foods. Plus, the beef noodle is awesome.
I've done take-out from here a couple of times but this was my first sit-down visit. It's a small place, formerly a standard Chinese restaurant with food you can find anywhere in the country. The new Amerasia is something else, altogether - from the décor (Kung Fu Food-style) to the craft beers (HUGE selection) to the original & delicious food.... More
What a great place for delicious food and extremely friendly, caring service. The food is expertly prepared and presented and fairly priced. Will return to this place frequently in the future. And, they just happen to have some 150 different beers. What more could you ask?
Food tasted amazing, but towards end of my meal, found bug inside my beer 3/4 of the way down. When I told what happened to the "general manager", he said he would give 50% off the beer lol what a joke!!! I was thinking to myself..."this guy is really going to make me pay for something that had a bug... More
Great little place in Covington. Super friendly staff. The food was extremely tasty. Cooked to order and well spiced. One of the main reason we chose this place was the rumor of a large beer selection. We would not be disappointed. The bartender was very knowledgeable about his beer and equally enthusiastic about the food and the chef. They also... More
This is definitely an eclectic restaurant, especially for someone used to "standard" Chinese food. As noted there is a huge beer menu - had a delightful Belgian raspberry malt. Not very large - 40 seats including the bar, almost full on a weekday night. I think the right approach here is to have each diner order a different meal and... More
This quirky little place never fails to delight us with the food. Truly delicious Asian inspired food with a huge beer menu. The prices are reasonable and the service is excellent. My only suggestion for improvement would be to offer more seating.
This world traveler is lucky to share his home city with Amerasia Restaurant, a gem of a restaurant that I frequent at least twice monthly. I normally would not review in this manner, but the owner, Johnny Chu, and his friends and family of staff have truly made this a fabulous find right in the heart of Covington, KY, and... More
I have been traveling in and out of the area all summer and not sure how I missed this wonderful restaurant. The food was great, the service was wonderful and I got a crash a course on Asian spices. I will return.
I had recently stopped by during the evening when they were so busy with folks waiting that I came back during lunchtime. I've enjoyed traveling throughout China and SouthEast Asia and Amerasia is the most authentic Asian cuisine I've stumbled upon in Greater Cincinnati. There were no less than 3 customers of Asian origin who picked up a carryout order... More
