harland sanders cafe, orinigal KFC, put in several and came up 'couldn't find'. TA needs to have it so you can click on 'review' on the page where you found. I've had this happen a number of times and absurd. Makes me not want to use the site and surely not write reviews.

Historical restaurant worth a trip.

Standard KFC, but, this was the very first one in the chain. They have a very nice museum setting and displays that make this even more enjoyable. Definitely worth a visit, if for nothing but the museum. Food is standard KFC. Talked to the manager about why no buffet, and he said corporate just... read more

Our entire family of four got food poisoning here on 7/17. We all had different types of meals as well. We are still recovering from it. It really sucks being on vacation so far from home and trying to recover from this horrible experience.

It's a fun stop. Lots of visitors. Food is typical KFC...don't expect anything "different". What IS different is the dining area which houses memorabilia & part of the very 1st KFC!! If you like history & Americana...then you should definitely stop by. I live here & still think it's fun.

Take a step back in time and visit the original Kentucky fried chicken. It was really neat to see the kitchen where it all started plus a lot of old memorabilia. Bring the family for a visit and have a nice meal too.

This is the original Kentucky Fried Chicken location. I dislike the fact that The Colonel and my grandfather went to the same church and at the church socials my grandfather's chicken was always eaten before "the Colonel's" chicken was eaten.

This was just your regular K.F.C. with a drive-thru, but attached was a little interesting history on How Colonel Sanders started his business, owned a motel next door etc. The kids enjoyed taking a picture with the statue of the Colonel sitting on a bench...haha... It was a nice place to walk around and stretch our legs in the midst... More

I typically do not eat kfc but was in the area for business and had to try it, the restaurant serves just the usual kfc menu items and I was expecting more because this is where it all began however I thought the food was above average for a kfc. The museum and memorabilia is interesting enough for a visit.

This is just your regular KFC food. I was expecting more, the area is kinda dirty & building rundown. It was a nice day out so it would have been nice if they had an outdoor eating area.

I was expecting something more than the local KFC and was disappointed. I thought perhaps the chicken meal might be served restaurant or cafe style rather than fast food style. And I thought the quality might be a notch better. It wasn't. The mashed potatoes looked and tasted fake. My husband's chicken thighs were all fat. My chicken breast was... More

The original Kentucky Fried Chicken! The food is the same, but somehow it’s a lot better when it’s the original Original! The museum is part of the restaurant. A fun way to have some lunch and get a little Americana history. Glad we went!
