harland sanders cafe, orinigal KFC, put in several and came up 'couldn't find'. TA needs to have it so you can click on 'review' on the page where you found. I've had this happen a number of times and absurd. Makes me not want to use the site and surely not write reviews.

Not your typical KFC!

My family is a regular patron of this restaurant. The menu is just like other KFCs. Sometimes it is irritating to hear the employees arguing over who is next for their break, or who is responsible for some order. HOWEVER, the food is always good. We live about 20 minutes from this KFC,and... read more

We decided we needed to have lunch here while we were in Corbin! And why not....this is the ORIGINAL KFC in all the U.S. The service was good and the food just as we expected....great! It was fun to visit the KFC Museum, which is located inside the cafe. A great little historical place to visit and eat!!

I stopped here with my family and we truly enjoyed the experience. We are from Kentucky, so we felt it was somewhat mandatory that we stopped here. As always, KFC is on point. It truly is a must do for anyone passing through the area. You can purchase souvenirs that are pretty cool as well. I highly recommend Colonel Sanders... More

This must be the restaurant we ate at but the name has changed I guess. Had a nice separate bar where you can eat and watch ballgames on tv. You can walk to the Hampton Inn (south).I believe there's an Applebee's closeby as well.

Its a normal KFC with a museum. I guess just looking back at the history of it makes it a cool stop. It too bad that it did not stay like it was from the time of 1940. You would have to go to the food counter to get any type of memorabilia which are few. Its one of those... More

Standard KFC, but, this was the very first one in the chain. They have a very nice museum setting and displays that make this even more enjoyable. Definitely worth a visit, if for nothing but the museum. Food is standard KFC. Talked to the manager about why no buffet, and he said corporate just said no. Either way, worth a... More

Our entire family of four got food poisoning here on 7/17. We all had different types of meals as well. We are still recovering from it. It really sucks being on vacation so far from home and trying to recover from this horrible experience.

It's a fun stop. Lots of visitors. Food is typical KFC...don't expect anything "different". What IS different is the dining area which houses memorabilia & part of the very 1st KFC!! If you like history & Americana...then you should definitely stop by. I live here & still think it's fun.

Take a step back in time and visit the original Kentucky fried chicken. It was really neat to see the kitchen where it all started plus a lot of old memorabilia. Bring the family for a visit and have a nice meal too.

This is the original Kentucky Fried Chicken location. I dislike the fact that The Colonel and my grandfather went to the same church and at the church socials my grandfather's chicken was always eaten before "the Colonel's" chicken was eaten.
