This is an interesting old house converted nicely to a restaurant. The food was really delicious, with a good selection/variety. They easily accommodated our party of 6. The only negatives are parking...on street or a lot that is a bit of a walk...and it can get a bit noisy in the dining rooms. Still...food was well worth it!

We dine at The Tousey House often but have never posted a review. If you want a welcoming and historic atmosphere with a great working staff and amazing food, make the effort to travel 4.5 miles to the center of the Historic town of Burlington, Kentucky. Tonight I had charred grilled salmon served with local sweet corn, green beans and pecan wood... More

This is the second restaurant for this family. They have the Greyhound Grill in Fort Mitchell which is very good as well. This restaurant is a bit more upscale and such a bit of history. The food is wonderful and you will have a great time!

We stopped here for dinner one night while on a 3 week road trip vacation to Kentucky and Tennessee. The hostess at our b&b, Burlington's Willis Graves Bed & Breakfast Inn, recommended it to us and we're glad she did! The building is a charming brick, two-story, early 1800s former inn, I believe. The decor is Early American and it's... More

I live near this restaurant and have been there many times and it has always been great, but not this time. My husband and I went there in the middle of the week to celebrate our anniversary. The atmosphere was great, as usual, and the service was good. It was the food that disappointed this time. I ordered the crab... More

I've eaten here twice when visiting family. It's a very historic building so it doesn't have all the "modern" conveniences but it is beautifully decorated in period furnishings. The food is excellent; I had the pork chop which was well-seasoned and tender. The prices are very reasonable (at last for someone who lives in a more-expensive urban area). My husband... More

Excellent food. Excellent value. I have been here for dinner also. I was promptly greeted at the door and the service was spot on.

Nice setting, but lots of stairs if you don't get a seat in downstairs rooms. A bit tight to maneuver around hurried waiters when going to the restroom or leaving. Comfy atmosphere with white taxable cloth. Food is delicious. Have visited several times for business dinners.

The Filet is THE best steak I have ever had. I've had nearly everything on the menu, always delicious and the service - top notch!

This meal was a big highlight of our trip. We were graciously greeted, promptly seated to a delightful corner table. We were in for a treat. Our guys ordered the Tuesday night Fried Chicken (I got a few bites and it was delicious). My girlfriend and I had the halibut and oh what a treat. The fish was topped with... More
