We were recommended to eat here and i'm glad we listened. We had the pork tenderloin and the duck, both were exceptional and well worth the price. The atmosphere was very nice and the staff was very attentive and friendly.

Traveling through or in the area on business, make dinner at Tousey House Tavern a priority. Had the Bourbon & Brown Sugar Pork Tenderloin. I love prok tenderloin just about any way your want to prepare it, and I've had some really, really good ones. I was not prepared for what I was served here. The tenderloin itself was perfectly... This is a great place for a good meal. if you know the Greyhound Tavern you know the Tousey House. The food is slightly different but always good. The one consistent meal is the FRIED CHICKEN. If you can get a seat at the table for two on the second floor by the front window all you can see are... More

First, the restaurant is in a charming historic house and is a cozy place to be on a cool fall evening. The server couldn't have been nicer but the food was not the best - or to be fair, maybe I am just not a big fan of smoked food. We shared the fried tomato appetizer as well as the... More

Half price wine night. Walleye perfectly prepared. Wonderful creme brûlée. Outstanding service. The corn was great proving everything is better with bacon.

Tousey has a nice setup, very historic, and we like the specials through the week, but this last week or so they got rid of at least two of their very good waitresses - - although it's their business, they can employee who they want, part of getting comfortable with a place is having a favorite waiter/waitress who knows you... Gourmet comfort food may sound like an oxymoron, but at the Tousey House, it's good eating, southern style. The setting is an historical old house surrounded by other historic buildings in a small town in Northern Kentucky. The meat and vegetables are as local and fresh as possible. The preparation and presentation are excellent, and the the wait staff and... More

With friends visiting from Florida, we wanted a great meal in a great setting. My wife and I chose one of our all-time favorite restaurants - the historic Tousey House - and it once again exceeded expectations. The service was very good, all dishes were excellent, and the fried chicken is still the best we've ever had!
