Best Breakfast!

We were visiting Shaker Village and were told that the Village Inn has catfish on the weekends! We were trying to locate a hotel so we traveled on to Danville to find lodging that evening. This is a fairly little place with a good menu. It feels like a small town place should, with generous portions, and good food at a value price.

Ate here twice both lunch and breakfast. Great home cooking with fresh made pies. Prices are reasonable and you get your money's worth. Owner/Cook great to talk to and she is 3rd generation family owner. Building is nothing special, but neat and clean. It is located on the way to Harrington Lake and only 5 miles from Shaker Village and... More

Village Inn is one of the best kept secrets of a restaurant in the Central Kentucky area. It is Kentucky Home Cooking at it's finest. The place is a hole in the wall and not much to look at, but that is part of the charm. Everything there is good and they give you more than you can eat for... More

I love the Catfish so much, I... More

If you want good home cooking, reasonable prices and a friendly atmosphere, try The Village Inn. They also serve a huge delicious hamburger and most times fried green tomatoes are available. You can't leave hungry, that's for sure.
